(Clearwisdom.net) On January 29, 2004, Falun Gong practitioners from St. Petersburg went to Nevsky Metro Station to promote Falun Gong and raise awareness about the gross human rights violations happening to their fellow practitioners in China. Many people received leaflets from the practitioners and looked at the display boards carefully. After learning the facts about Falun Gong and that it is being wrongly persecuted, they took the initiative to sign a petition calling for an immediate end to the persecution.

Truth clarification photos and banners
A gentleman, whom we met before when we held a similar activity at a Buddhist temple, came to our booth. This gentleman was the Abbot of the temple and told us about his extraordinary experiences. Several years ago he suffered from a serious joint illness and found that medical treatment did not help. He went to live alone in a forest, where he discovered a treatment on his own and learned how to grow crops. Through strong willpower and perseverance, he recovered from his illness and returned to St. Petersburg three years later. Recently, his illness recurred. Today he came to the place where we held these activities and seriously told us, "All of this is not accidental. It is destiny that allowed me to know about Falun Gong and brought me here. I really need to think it over seriously!"

Clarifying the facts
Falun Gong practitioners used to get together in downtown, but in the past half years, they have been going to communities where there are many residents to clarify the truth, so that more people can learn about Falun Gong and the persecution happening in China.
