(Clearwisdom.net) My home computer recently broke down, so a young man from a computer store came to repair it. After looking at it, he said the main unit had some problems and asked me to take it to his store for repair. As he was examining the computer, I told him that I am a Falun Gong practitioner, that both my mother-in-law and I had been practicing for more than 10 years, and that her illnesses disappeared after she started practicing. I explained how everyone in her workplace knew this. I told him that I had been illegally sent to a forced labor camp for one year, and I told him about the persecution I experienced in the labor camp. As I told him that we just wanted to be better people, and bring benefit to our nation and society, he listened carefully. I gave him a truth-clarification VCD as he left, then told him about web links on the VCD where he could learn more about the truth of how Falun Gong was persecuted. He was very happy to accept the VCD, and repeatedly thanked me.
After that, another young man from the computer store came and took my computer to the shop for repair. Because his time was limited, I only briefly clarified the truth to him. Thinking that he would come again, I didn't give him a VCD.
The computer, however, was returned by a third young man. I asked if he had heard about Falun Gong. He said, "A little bit. I am not against Falun Gong. I just do not understand why the practitioners went to Tiananmen Square and set themselves on fire. Couldn't they talk to international human rights organizations? Why choose self-immolation?"
I explained some questionable points about the self-immolation at Tiananmen Square to him, and then I played a VCD that clarified it further. The young man was shocked and said, "Unbelievable! How could such a big country lie this way?!"
The man told me he was a Ph.D., and that he had been to the labor camp to give lectures to Falun Gong practitioners. I said, "Those people you gave lectures to were practitioners who were "transformed" during this brutal persecution because they succumbed to brainwashing and torture. You had no chance to meet determined practitioners since they were isolated." I then talked about some torture means that were applied to us in the labor camp, and the man was shocked. Finally, I said, "Take Chengdu City as an example. Falun Gong practitioners there all know a practitioner named Zhong Fangqiong."
I told him that a tumor in Zhong Fangqiong's blood vessel went away after two months' practice. When I talked about Zhong Fangqiong's going to the newspaper Business Early to clarify the truth, he said, "I heard about that newspaper. It was later closed."
When I told him that Zhong Fangqiong was detained in a police station for 2 days, in the detention center for 15 days after that, and for a total of at least 11 times altogether, he observed, "That is illegal. You should sue them."
When I said Sichuan TV station turned white into black and fabricated its news, he said, "Even I can do it. Just a few technical adjustments will make fraudulent news."
I gave the man two VCDs, and though he insisted on giving me some money, I refused.
My computer, however, still did not work so the young man came back the following day. He was very happy and said, "I watched the video last night, together with my roommates. They were also shocked, just like me." He took away my computer to repair.
Then a fourth young man came back with my computer. It turned out the computer did not have problems. It was the mouse. When they unplugged the mouse, the computer functioned perfectly. I clarified the truth to this person as well, and he listened very carefully, agreeing with the points I made.
A week later, the computer store had not charged me for the repairs, so I called them. Two young men came for the payment the next day. I paid them and also clarified the truth to them.
Through Fa-study, I understood that a Fa-rectification period Dafa disciple has the mission of saving sentient beings. We need to take the initiative and do well the three things that Teacher asks us to do: study the Fa well, send forth righteous thoughts, and do truth-clarification in our daily life and daily work. We need to function as Dafa particles under all circumstances, and make concrete efforts to validate the Fa, and save sentient beings.
