(Clearwisdom.net) My coworker is a new practitioner. One day her mother called her, huffing and puffing in very low voice. Her mother told her that she'd been diagnosed with hepatitis and she'd been suffering in the hospital for many days, and couldn't eat or sleep.
Listening to her mom, my colleague was in tears. She asked me, "What should I do?"
I thought about it for a minute and said, "Working in the medical field ourselves, we know the limitations of modern medicine. You should take your faith in Dafa and Master's book and go to your mother's side, that is the best way to bless a life." She made no reply. She took some time off and went back to her hometown.
A couple of days later, my associate returned. When she saw me, her excitement was indescribable. She told me that when she saw her mother she was very sad to find her so weak. She told her mom about the beauty of the Falun Dafa and the lies about Dafa that had been spread on radio and television. In the beginning, her mom stared at her with an odd expression, as if wondering how her daughter, who was a medical professional, could believe these things. Gradually, her mother began to understand the deficiencies of modern medicine, the reasons for her own failing health, and the wonder and beauty of Dafa. Her mom said, "Please read Master's book to me." My colleague started to read Zhuan Falun, but her mother soon fell asleep. My coworker put the book down, but as soon as she did, her mom woke up. Then my colleague realized that she should continue reading the book. Two hours passed, and her mother was sleeping soundly. The first thing her mom said upon waking was, "I feel so much better now..."
The next day, her mother had a blood test. After checking the sample, the doctor was dumbfounded. Finally he asked, "Is this the right blood sample?" The doctor just couldn't believe his findings, because all of the previous tests had shown that her mother's liver function was obviously abnormal, but the current test indicated that everything was normal except for a moderately heightened bilirubin level. A couple of days later, her mom left the hospital.
On the third day after my associate returned to work, her mother called her, and proudly told her, "I ate four pieces of bread at one time." My coworker laughed. Now her mother is reading Master's book...
