1. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Wang Yanyu on the Brink of Death from Torture at the Heizuizi Women's Forced Labor Camp
Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Wang Yanyu's life is in peril from torture at the Heizuizi Women's Forced Labor Camp. Wang Yanyu was sentenced to two years of forced labor simply because she refused to renounce Falun Dafa. Recently, police tortured her with forced-feeding and other methods.
2. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Ten Practitioners Sentenced in the Qilihe District Court
At the beginning of December 2003, personnel from Lanzhou City's National Security Team and from the Police Department collaborated and successively arrested more than 20 practitioners. Some of these practitioners were arrested at their homes while sharing experiences with fellow practitioners (for example, Ms. Bai Jinyu); some were arrested while distributing truth-clarifying materials (for example, the Mr. Wei Anyu and Ms. He Bingying couple); some were arrested at the places they rent and others were arrested at the Falun Dafa materials production centers when police discovered the locations. Two months later, practitioner Mr. Zhao Xudong was tortured to death. Ten practitioners were sentenced on November 26, 2004. Details of the terms are as follows:
He Yingguo, an employee of a gear factory: ten years;
Wei Anyue, former employee of the Jinchuan Company: ten years;
He Wenzhuo, a university graduate: eight years;
Ms. Wang Ailing from Jinchang City: eight years;
An Jiheng, an employee of Lanzhou City's Oil Machinery Factory: four years;
Shao Yanbo, a university student who was expelled for practicing Falun Dafa: four years;
Ms. Bai Jinyu: three years;
Ms. Chen Jie: three years;
Ms. He Bingying: three years;
Fan Chunsheng: two years.
After the court announced the verdicts, the ten practitioners called out loudly, "Falun Dafa is Great" to protest and they refused to sign their names on the court documents.
3. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Police Abduct Zhu Guoyou and Yu Shuhua
On the afternoon of December 14, 2004, personnel from Dehui City's Police Department arrested Mr. Zhu Guoyou and Ms. Yu Shuhua. Their Falun Dafa materials production center was destroyed and equipment confiscated.
4. [Kunming City, Yunnan Province] Personnel from the Panlong District Political & Judiciary Committee and from the 610 Office Persecute Practitioners
On December 7, 2004, personnel from Panlong District's Political & Judiciary Committee, from the 610 Office and from the National Security Team held a "law study class" at the Huanglonggou Resort in Kunming City. It was in fact a brainwashing class, and they originally planned to hold it for ten days. Later, it was confirmed that six practitioners had been sent there. They are Dong Zhikun from the Science & Education Office, Yunnan University of Forestry Technology, Wang Yijie, Zi Xiulan, and Hou, retired employees of a biological pharmaceutical factory, Wei Jiabi from the Ciba Heavy Machinery Factory, and Pan Yufang, a worker from Yunnan Province's Mental Hospital. The brainwashing class lasted only seven days and finished hastily. The six practitioners have all safely returned home.
5. [Jiutai City, Jilin Province] Wang Li Detained and in Poor Health
Practitioner Ms. Wang Li, 56 years old, from Jiutai City, has been held for over ten months. Around July 2004, as police hadn't found any evidence against her, they had to cancel the lawsuit against Wang Li and other practitioners; however, they are still being detained to date. Wang Li has staged hunger strikes several times in protest of her unlawful detention. She is now extremely weak, has symptoms of high blood pressure and heart disease and has been sent to the Central Hospital of Jilin Province's Prison Management Bureau.
6. [Yong'an City, Fujian Province] Wang Yu and Zuo Xiuyun Sentenced to Six Years of Imprisonment
Under instructions from the 610 Office, in early June 2004, personnel from Yong'an City's Police Department, Fujian Province arrested Ms. Wang Yu and Ms. Zuo Xiuyun.
In October 2000, Wang Yu and Zuo Xiuyun were sentenced to three years and four years of imprisonment, respectively, in the city's court. They had just finished the term and were had been free for no more than a few months before they were arrested again.
Since their arrest in early June, the police have not allowed their family members to visit. They also did not notify the two practitioners' families about when the practitioners' unlawful hearing and trial were to be held.
In the middle of September 2004, the two practitioners were sent to Fuzhou City Women's Prison in Fujian Province, but the authorities still did not permit visits from their families. So far, their families and relatives have no idea what they are being charged with and why they were sentenced to six years of imprisonment.
When their families went to the court to inquire as to what crime the practitioners committed to have been given such a severe sentence, the court staff said, "Severe sentencing is how the government deals with the Falun Gong issue."
7. [Jianyang City, Sichuan Province] Wang Huiying Arrested for Clarifying the Truth of Falun Gong
Sixty-year-old practitioner Ms. Wang Huiying from Jiancheng Town, Jianyang City, has been arrested many times. On December 16, 2004, when she was clarifying the truth to people face-to-face on Garden Street in Jianyang City, Ms. Wang was arrested and sent to Jianyang City's Detention Center.
8. [Henan Province] Zhu Yuling and Liu Guangfeng Arrested for Clarifying the Truth
On September 30, 2004, personnel from Xinyang City's Police Department arrested practitioners Ms. Zhu Yuling and Ms. Liu Guangfeng from Guangshui City, Hubei Province. The practitioners had gone to the Jigongshan popular scenic area in Henan Province to post Falun Gong truth-clarifying signs and to clarify the truth to the local people. Currently, both are being held at Guangshui City's First Detention Center. The Guangshui City Police Department authorities extorted money from the practitioners and mentioned to their families that they would release them only if they could pay 20,000 yuan; otherwise the practitioners would be sentenced to two years of forced labor.

9. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Yu Suijun and Yu Like Arrested for Clarifying the Truth
At around 10:00 p.m. on December 14, 2004, when practitioners Yu Suijun and Yu Like were clarifying the truth about Falun Gong in Qianjin Village, the Tianhe District, Guangzhou City, personnel from the local police precinct arrested them. Their whereabouts are currently unknown.
10. [Tongzhou District, Beijing City] The Qin Dezhong Couple Arrested for Giving Truth-Clarifying Materials to Their Employers
Mr. Qin Dezhong, an employee of Guo County's People's Machinery Factory, the Tongzhou District, Beijing, lives in the Mazhuang Area, Xitongzhou District. He clarified the truth of Falun Gong and gave truth-clarifying materials to the leaders of his place of employment, but leaders Li Yumei and Bo Yinong, who are in charge of persecuting Falun Gong, reported him to the police. Around December 9, personnel from the local police precinct broke into Qin Dezhong's home and found many Falun Dafa books. They arrested Qin Dezhong and his wife, who is also a practitioner.
11. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Persecution Account of Practitioner Li Wenfeng
Ms. Li Wenfeng, 50 years old, from Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, has been repeatedly harassed by personnel from the community office and from the local police precinct because she practices Falun Gong.
At around 11:00 a.m. on November 5, 2004, policeman Jiang from the Simaqiao Community Office, the Jinniu District, Chengdu City and police officer Zhou from the Caojiaxiang Police Precinct came to Li Wenfeng's home and ordered her to renounce the practice. Li Wenfeng steadfastly resisted. Sometime after 3:00 p.m., several other policemen came. They locked Li Wenfeng's son and mother into a separate room and pried open the door of the room where Li Wenfeng was. They abducted Li Wenfeng. Ms. Li's current whereabouts are unknown.
Li Wenfeng's family went to the Simaqiao Community Office and requested to meet with Li Wenfeng, but Simaqiao Community Office staff denied the request. It is assumed that Li Wenfeng has been sent to the Shaxixian Brainwashing Class outside of the west gate of Chengdu City.

12. [Yishui County, Shandong Province] Xu Laicheng, Yang Baoli and Four Other Falun Gong Practitioners Arrested for Distributing Truth-Clarifying Materials
On the night of December 6, 2004, practitioners Mr. Xu Laicheng, Ms. Yang Baoli, Ms. Wu Shixiang, Ms. Liu Jingmei, Ms. Wu Meishan and Mr. Zhang Shuxin from Yishui County, Shandong Province, were arrested when they were distributing truth-clarifying materials in Ju County. They were transferred to Yishui County's Detention Center on December 10, and their houses were searched.
Gao Zhenquan, who worked in the Yixin Secondary School in Yishui County, was arrested from school on December 13 and his house was searched.
13. [Laiyang City, Shandong Province] Brief Information Regarding Four Practitioners Incarcerated at the Wangcun Detention Center
On October 27, 2004, policemen from Laiyang City's 610 Office arrested Ms. Wang Zhihua from Yukeding, Muyudian Town, Laiyang City, Shandong Province.
In 2004, policemen from Laiyang City's 610 Office arrested practitioner Mr. Ma Shaowei, an employee of Laiyang City's Power Machine Factory. He was sentenced to forced labor and is currently being held at the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp.
In May 2003, personnel from the 610 Office arrested practitioner Ms. Guo Fang from Laiyang City who is currently being detained at the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp.
In April 2003, policemen of the 610 Office arrested practitioner Mr. Hong Chi from Nanbowei, Yejiebo Village, Qiandian Town, Laiyang City and sentenced him to forced labor in May. He is currently being held at the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp.
14. [Hengyang City, Hunan Province] Several Practitioners Arrested for Clarifying the Truth
On December 8, 2004, Yang Zhilan and three other practitioners from the Nan District in Hengyang City, Hunan Province were arrested. The perpetrators were from the Hengyang City 610 Office. The arrest happened because the practitioners had exposed the criminals who followed Jiang's orders in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners, and told how Jiang's regime persecutes Falun Gong. The policemen searched their houses.
Practitioner Mr. Wang Yinzhang, from the North District in Hengyang City, was followed on December 14, 2004, when he distributed truth-clarifying materials. At noon, Renmin Road Community foreman and five other people arrested Mr. Wang and ransacked his house. Wang Yinzhang escaped with the power of righteous thoughts, but was forced to become homeless in order to avoid arrest.

15. [Changdejin City, Hunan Province] Practitioner Gong Dexiu Arrested for Going to Beijing to Present a Petition
Ms. Gong Dexiu, 53 years old, is from Changdejin City, Hunan Province. On December 6, 2004, Gong Dexiu wrote a petition to sue the four chief perpetrators of the persecution: Jiang Zemin, Luo Gang, Liu Jing and Zhou Yongkang. She went to the Supreme People's Court and the Supreme People's Prosecution Department to present the petition. However, the two departments did not accept her petition; instead, they arrested Gong Dexiu. Personnel from Changdejin City's Police Department received the information and then went to Beijing to get her, but Beijing authorities refused to release her. To date, there is no information about Ms. Wang's situation.
On January 25, 2000, Gong Dexiu went to Beijing to appeal but was arrested and was held at Changdejin City's Detention Center for eight months. In August 2001 she went to Beijing to appeal again, but was sentenced to two years of forced labor. She was released after being detained at Zhuzhou City's Baimalong Forced Labor Camp for over a year.
