1. [Beijing] Li Ying, a Disabled Young Woman, is Sentenced to Three Years Forced Labor for Clarifying the Truth in Beijing
Ms. Li Ying, 23 and disabled, is from Sanjia Village in Badaohao Town, Heishan County, Liaoning Province. When she was a child, she was burned so severely that she became disabled. A large area on the left side of her body was burned, and she almost lost her life. Since she began to practice Falun Gong in 1997, the symptoms of her injuries have greatly improved. On September 1, 2004, Li Ying went to Beijing to clarify the truth. While she was posting truth-clarification flyers near Yuyuantan in Beijing, policemen from the Yuyuantan Police Station arrested her. Because Li Ying refused to give her name or address, she was locked up in a dark room and given no food or water for two days. After she fainted several times, the police sent her to the hospital for emergency treatment. The police discovered her name and address on her disability ID card. Instead of being sent back to her hometown, she was sentenced to three years of forced labor in Beijing. She was detained at the notorious Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp and then transferred to the Beijing Women's Forced Labor Camp. She was later sent to the Shijiazhuang Drug Rehabilitation Forced Labor Camp 500 miles away from Beijing.
2. [Puyang City, Henan Province] Four Practitioners from Zhongyuan Oil Field Arrested
Police have seized practitioners Zhao Liming, Ju Lili, Li Qingmin and Wang Ronghua from the Zhongyuan Oil Field in Puyang City, Henan Province.
Zhao Liming is a primary school teacher at the Number 3 Oil Extraction Factory. On the afternoon of December 30, 2004, police officers from the Zhongyuan Oil Field Public Security Department took Zhao away for clarifying the truth about Falun Gong to the students.
Ju Lili is an employee of the Zhongyuan Oil Field Education Training School.
Li Qingmin is a retired employee of the Zhongyuan Oil Field.
Wang Ronghua is a retired employee of the Zhongyuan Oil Field Number 1 Well Drilling Company. On January 2, 2005, the National Protection Unit of the Puyang City Public Security Bureau arrested Wang for clarifying the truth. He remains in detention still.
3. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Li Guoyou Is on the Seventh Day of a Hunger Strike
Mr. Li Guoyou is being held in the Daoli District Detention Center in Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province. He is conducting a hunger strike, which has lasted for seven days so far.
Li Guoyou is firm and righteous in his belief in Teacher and Dafa. He exposes the persecution and tells the facts regardless of the situation. Even the police say he was treated unjustly and should appeal.

4. [Changde District, Hunan Province] Gong Dexiu Detained at the Jinshi Detention Center for Appealing in Beijing
In early December 2004, Ms. Gong Dexiu went to Beijing on her own with 43 pages of an appeal letter, which listed 16 crimes committed by Jiang's regime. After being detained she paid a 10,000-yuan fine to Beijing police. She was then returned to her hometown and sent to the Jinshi Detention Center.

5. [Dandong City, Liaoning Province] Zhang Lianqun Detained for Distributing Truth-clarification Materials
Mr. Zhang Lianqun, 51 years old, is the chief of the Labor Bureau Training Section in Dandong City, Liaoning Province. On the night of January 9, 2005, the public security bureau arrested him for distributing Falun Gong truth-clarification materials. He was locked in an iron cage, and his home and office were searched. He was sent to the detention center on January 12.
6. [Huzhou District, Zhejiang Province] Li Jun Jailed for Exposing the Evil on the Internet
Since July 20, 2004, many Huzhou City practitioners have been sent to the brainwashing center. Mr. Li Jun, Mr. Ji Jianwei, Mr. Shen Guigen, Ms. Dai Jufen and others exposed the evil on the Internet and expressed their determination to continue practicing Falun Gong. They were discovered by the police in Huzhou and sent to the Jinhua Shiliping Forced Labor Camp in Zhejiang. After Li Jun was arrested, the police also took his wife to the brainwashing center and tortured her.
7. [Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province] Many Practitioners Recently Arrested
Recently, officers from the Yingpan Police Station, the Wucheng Police Station, and the North Heping Road Police Station have arrested many practitioners in Taiyuan City.
Ms. Liu Bailian was arrested while clarifying the truth.
Ms. Zhou, Ms. Zhao Yuan, Ms. Wu Huiqin, and Ms. Zhao Aiping were arrested at home.
The homes of Fei Zhaoming, Ms. Tang Jinlian and Ms. Zhang Yulan were searched, and computers and other equipment were confiscated.
Ms. Ji Guoyuan was arrested as she clarified the truth on a bus. She later escaped, and her whereabouts are unknown.
8. [Wei County, Hebei Province] Gong Hua and Geng Yuling are Seized and Taken to the Wei County Brainwashing Center
On November 19, 2004, Wei County 610 Office personnel arrested Ms. Geng Yuling of Xiayuanzao Village in Chenjiawa Township and took her to the Wei County Brainwashing Center. She has been on a hunger strike and is suffering cruel torture.
Ms. Gong Hua is an employee of the Wei County Printing Factory. On November 19, 2004, Political and Security Section Chief Shao Jie deceived her and took her to the detention center. At that time, Chief Shao Jie told her husband, "She will be back in two weeks." After two weeks, however, she was transferred to the brainwashing center and remains in detention.
9. [Xinxiang City, Henan Province] Li Guihua and Fan Zexiu Have Been on a Hunger Strike for Two Weeks
On December 30, 2004, 48-year-old Ms. Li Guihua and 48-year-old Ms. Fan Zexiu from Xinxiang City, Henan Province, were arrested and taken to the Hongqi Public Security Sub-bureau. Police officers from Xinxiang City and County searched their homes the next day and later detained the practitioners at the Xinxiang City Detention Center. They have currently been on a hunger strike for two weeks.

10. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Four Practitioners Arrested for Distributing Falun Gong Material
At 11 p.m. on January 10, 2005, four practitioners were arrested while they were hanging up Falun Gong banners and distributing materials. They were taken to the Pingluo Police Station in Yuhong District, Shenyang City, and their motorized tricycle was confiscated.
According to an inside source, Mr. Zhang Peng, who once operated the boiler at the Mrs. Zheng Food Products Factory, is detained at the Zhangshi Brainwashing Center with another Mr. Zhang. Ms. Ju Yanyun and Ms. Lin Suolan are being held at the Sujiatun Detention Center. On the night of their arrest, Ju Yanyun's residence was searched, and her computer, printer and other property valued at 6000 yuan were confiscated. A young female practitioner who was staying with Ju was taken to the Pingluo Police Station. Although she was threatened with violence, this practitioner refused to answer any questions other than to clarify the truth about Falun Gong. On the night of January 11, she walked out of the police station in an open and honorable manner.
11. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Xiao Hua and Wang Zhennan Seized While Photocopying Teacher's New Articles
Officers of the Dongke Street Huagong Police Station in the Daowai District of Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, arrested Xiao Hua and Ms. Wang Zhennan, searched their homes, and confiscated all of their Dafa literature, truth-clarification materials and VCD's.
At around 5 p.m. on December 24, 2004, Xiao Hua and Wang Zhennan were photocopying Teacher's new articles at the Xianfeng Road Mingxing Photocopy Center. They had finished photocopying part of it and put the articles on the table when three policemen from the Huagong Police Station came in and arrested them. The policemen searched their homes without notifying their families and transferred them to the Gu Township Yaziquan Detention Center that very night.

12. [Dingxing County, Hebei Province] Hu Zichun Sent to the Baoding Forced Labor Camp
On December 7, 2004, Yaocun Village Police Station policemen arrested Hu Zichun at his home in Yaocun Village, Dingxing County, Hebei Province, and detained him at the Dingxing County Detention Center. On January 11, 2005, the police transferred Hu to the Baoding Forced Labor Camp without notifying his family members.
