(Clearwisdom.net) Practitioner Ms. Cao Guiying was a resident of Anqiu City, Shandong Province. She benefited physically and mentally from her cultivation in Falun Dafa. After the persecution started in July 20, 1999, Cao went to Beijing twice to clarify the truth and appeal on behalf of Dafa. She told people that "Falun Dafa is Good" and "'Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance' is Good." The local persecutors illegally arrested and detained her. They subjected her to brainwashing, extorted money, harassed and monitored her daily. Using a policy of implication, they threatened her family members and relatives. As a result of the persecution, Cao died on April 8, 2003. More details of her situation follow:
Ms. Cao Guiying was 66 years old. She was a resident of Chengli Village, Anqiu Town, Anqiu City. Cao started to cultivate Falun Dafa in the spring of 1996. She used to suffer from many diseases before she practiced Dafa. She was bedridden most of the time and was unable to take care of herself. Neither medication nor injections improved her poor health. She became healthy in less than one month after she started to practice Falun Dafa. This miracle made her family members recognize the goodness of Falun Dafa. They were overjoyed because of her recovery. Therefore, her 4 daughters also began the practice in 1996. They all enjoyed great benefits. Cao's husband and son, although they didn't practice, were also very happy about the great changes they saw in their family members.
Until the persecution started in July 20, 1999, Cao Guiying had enjoyed good health after practicing Falun Dafa. She no longer needed medication. All her friends and relatives knew that it was Falun Dafa that gave her good health. After the persecution started in July 20, 1999, Cao wanted to tell people "Falun Dafa is Good" and "'Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance' is Good." She went to Beijing to clarify the truth to people in July and October of 2000. Both times, the authorities in Anqiu City arrested and detained her in the Planned Pregnancy Office of Anqiu Town. The perpetrators also extorted 200 yuan from her during her first arrest.
After Cao was released, the perpetrators assigned people to monitor her around the clock, in and outside her home. The persecutors unlawfully monitored her, harassed her, threatened her, and implicated her family members. The unlawful monitoring lasted for 6 months. Under the persecution of Jiang's regime and its followers, Cao Guiying passed away at her home on April 8, 2003.
