Facts of the Persecution

1. The Crimes Committed by Police Officer Xu Wu of the Huangma Township Police Station, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province

Zhu Xizhen, a 55-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner from Nanan Village, Houfang Village of Huangma Township, was illegally detained by the Huangma Township Police Station during a visit to his relatives and friends on September 23, 2004. On December 7, 2004, two days after he was sent home from the police station, he lost consciousness and passed away. Police officer Xu Wu and director Xiong Jianping, of the Huangma Township Police Station are the people who were directly responsible for his death. It has been suggested that the police either put unknown medicine in his food or injected him with unknown medicine. The real cause of his death is being investigated.

2. Practitioners Ms. Li Guijie, Ms. Gao Yaxian and Others Are Suffering Cruel Persecution at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp

Falun Dafa practitioner Li Guijie from Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province has been illegally detained at Masanjia Forced Labor Camp for the past three years. Her term was due to expire on December 18, 2004. However, the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp refused to release her. Due to their steadfast cultivation of Falun Dafa, Jinzhou Falun Dafa practitioner Cun Yaning, and Yi County practitioner Cui Guohua are still being detained at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp, even though their terms were due to expire. Practitioner Gao Yaxian from Shenyang City, who was illegally detained at Masanjia Forced Labor Camp, has been put into solitary confinement six times because of doing the exercises. Each time, the confinement lasted from ten days to over 3 months. When he was in solitary confinement, Gao was handcuffed, forced to sit on an iron chair, and subjected to high intensity noise. She was not allowed to use the washroom for 16 hours every day. As a result, she was unable to control her feces and urine, and her blood pressure reached 200. One time during July and August, the temperature reached around 35 degrees inside the small cell where she was confined. Policeman Wang Yuguang still forced Gao to wear a facemask, causing Gao to almost suffocate. Recently, Wang Yugang and other policemen locked Gao into solitary confinement again and didn't allow her to put on winter clothes. Instead, they left the windows and doors open the whole time. The room temperature dropped to 26 degrees below zero Celsius (-15 F), causing Gao's legs to become numb and leaving them in a state of paralysis. Falun Dafa practitioner Yi Liping's lower body was tortured to the point of paralysis as well. There was a so-called "emotion adjustment room," set up on the fourth floor of the Administration Building at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. All of the walls and doors are sealed. Sound is isolated, and there are no windows. The stench is so odious that people choke. Steadfast Falun Dafa practitioners, such as practitioner Gao Yaxian, are locked up in this secret room.

3. Exposing the Evil People Who Persecuted Falun Dafa Practitioner Song Kaijun from Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia

Mr. Song Kaijun, 40 years old, is a Falun Dafa practitioner from Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia. The "610 Office" sentenced him to 3 years in jail because he practices Falun Dafa. He is being illegally detained at the No.4 Chifeng Jail in Inner Mongolia. Policeman Zhang Tinghua (nickname Zhang Heizi), Yu Changkun, Liu Zhiguo, and others are the perpetrators of the persecution of Song Kaijun. Active rescue actions for Song are expected.

4. Officials at the Reeling Mill of Tongchuan District in Dazhou City of Sichuan Province Persecute Falun Dafa Practitioners

Lin Shengcai, the General Secretary of the Communist Party Committee of Reeling Mill and the Sectional Manager of the Politics and Workers Section in the Industry Bureau of Tongchuan District, Dazhou City, Sichuan Province; and Union Chairman Yuan Chuanming, Factory Head Yuan Changming, Security Division chief Gao Shanyun, and others have been monitoring, following, and brainwashing practitioners from Reeling Mill. Lin Shengcai and Yuan Chuanming often threatened practitioner Bi Guangzhen and Yang Tianyu, and didn't allow them to practice Falun Gong. As a result, illnesses that were cured once they started practicing Falun Gong recurred and they both died. Falun Dafa practitioner Chen Kaixiang's home has been ransacked five times. He and his family were harassed over 20 times by the above-mentioned people. In January 2001, Chen was sentenced to 4 years in prison. He suffered from inhumane torture at Deyang Jail, and is losing his vision. He can barely see. Reeling Mill Falun Dafa practitioners Gao Hongxiang, Chen Xiaohua, Gao Dong, and He Chengyu have been sentenced to 9 years, 7 years, 5 years, and 3 and a half years in jail respectively, where they suffer from cruel torture.

5. The Sichuan Province Wanyuan City National Security Team Robs People, Uses Violence, and is Condemned by the Public

Falun Gong practitioner Yang Yuefu, who resides at the No.1 Village of Miaozi township in Wanyuan City, was reported by Rao Jianyi while delivering truth-clarification CDs to new practitioners. On June 10, 2004, policemen Wang Qiang, Lang Bin, Dazhuhe Police Bureau Head Wan Xiaochun, and others from the Wanyuan City National Security Team arrested him. They detained him at the Wangyuan City No.1 Forced Labor Camp. On the following morning, the policemen ganged up with people from the Communist Committee Government of Maozi County and people from the security office. Eight of them climbed over Yang's walls and entered his home. At about 5 o'clock in the afternoon, as soon as Yang's son came home from school, they started threatening, intimidating, and deceiving him. It wasn't until 10 o'clock that night, after Yang's kind neighbors condemned their actions, that they left. Yang was arrested and illegally detained at the No.1 Forced Labor Camp at the Police Station for over 6 months. The policemen at the jail instigated criminals to beat him up secretly, and steal his money and belongings. Later, the "610 Office" and the National Security Team secretly detained him in a "small cell." They didn't allow him to eat, sleep, or rest around the clock, and took turns conducting brainwashing sessions on him. On December 17, the National Security team from the City Police Bureau issued a notice that he was to be imprisoned for two years at the Forced Labor Camp. On December 22, the Wanyuan City National Security Team, and policeman Liang Bin, secretly sent Yang to the Mianyang City Forced Labor Camp in Sichuan Province.
