In Taiwan, upwards of three thousand supporters of the Falungong spiritual movement have linked hands to form a six-kilometre long "great Wall of Justice", during a protest rally in the capital Taipei.
Participants also held up photos and paintings depicting torture at the hands of the Chinese Government.
The Buddhist-inspired teachings of Falungong have been banned in China since 1999.
The group claims there have since been more than 12-hundred cases of its members being tortured to death.
There are an estimated 300,000 Falungong members in Taiwan.
