Facts of the Persecution

1. Perpetrators from the Liaocheng City National Security Bureau in Shandong Province plan to abduct Dafa practitioners in secret

Perpetrators from the Liaocheng City National Security Bureau (LCNSB) destroy Dafa materials production sites and illegally arrest practitioners working at those sites. The perpetrators wear civilian clothes and drive white or black Santana cars. They tap the practitioners' home phones and cell phones and monitor and follow practitioners for long periods of time.

In January 2004, Liu Laiping from the LCNSB led a group of perpetrators. They abducted practitioner Ms. Jia Qingping who had become homeless to avoid being arrested from home. She suffered a nervous breakdown after she was released. In late 2004, practitioners Guo Zhaoyong's and Hao Zengwong's cell phones were tapped. On September 30, 2004, they were abducted by LCNSB agents and were sent to the Guan County Hotel. They were later secretly sent to the Dongchangfu Brainwashing Center in Liaocheng City. Guo Zhaoyong and Hao Zengwong held a hunger strike and were brutally force-fed. It was learned that Guo Zhaoyong has escaped from the brainwashing class with righteous thoughts, and Hao Zengwong has been sent home on parole. The perpetrators forced Hao Zengwong's father, Hao Yurui, to write a Guarantee Statement for him. Hao Zengwong experienced frequent chest tightness after he was released, and he could not do manual labor.

The perpetrators are currently looking for another practitioner who has become homeless, with the intent of secretly abducting him.

2. Practitioner Du Wanxin in Zhangqiu City, Shandong Province, was abducted again after he was released from prison

Practitioner Mr. Du Wanxin is a 52-year-old widower, a farmer from Liangjiapo Village, Guanzhuang County, Zhangqiu City, Shandong Province. He started practicing Dafa in 1997. It is difficult for him to support himself and his son, so he sent his son to live with his sister-in-law. In December 2001, Du Wanxin was abducted and sent to the Jinan Forced Labor Camp for three years of forced labor because he went to Beijing to clarify the truth about Falun Dafa to the government. He was released in September 2003. On December 18, 2004, Mr. Du was reported when distributing truth clarification materials in Henggou Village, Zhangqiu City. Officers from the No. 2 Police Station in Shuangshan abducted him again. He is currently being held under criminal detention.

3. The viciousness of Yue Zhonggui, a police officer from Anlu City, Hubei Province

Yue Zhonggui is in his 40s. He was formerly a police officer in the Guan County Police Department, Anlu City, Hubei Province. He was transferred to the Sili Detention Center in Anlu City to take charge of persecuting Dafa practitioners, because he was extremely vicious in torturing them. During the Sixteenth Party Congress, Yue Zhonggui ordered male inmates to force-feed Dafa practitioners. He also ordered a doctor to inject practitioner Ms. Mao Cuilian with unknown drugs when she had a fever. Her condition worsened following the injection and her body temperature shot up even further. She could not sleep and rolled in bed for a whole night. Ms. Mao was sent to the hospital when she was on the brink of death.

The perpetrators are currently torturing practitioner Ms. Pan Juying, who was hospitalized for over three months at the No. 2 Hospital. She is emaciated and on the brink of death. In order to prevent her from escaping from the hospital, the perpetrators sent Ms. Pan back to the detention center.
