(Clearwisdom.net) Jiang and his political gang brought about the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners, which has deeply hurt every single practitioner who steadfastly practices Falun Dafa, as well as their families. I have kept on practicing Falun Dafa, and was arrested and detained because I reported the situation to the government. Because I went to Tiananmen Square to unfurl a banner, did the exercises outdoors in a group, and distributed truth-clarifying materials, my house was searched, and I was detained and sentenced to a labor camp. My husband is well-behaved and timid. He has lived under a great deal of pressure for the past five years, and this enormous mental burden caused his health to become worse and worse. Through the ordeal, his originally robust body thoroughly broke down, and he died on March 23, 2004.
Since Jiang's cruel persecution of Falun Gong began on July 20, 1999, the police officers and personnel who work for the street committee often came to my home. One day, the policeman tried to take me from my home by force. My husband was so afraid that he instantly vomited. Although they did not take me away, they often monitored my home after that.
On June 20, 2000, we hosted many Falun Gong practitioners who had come to Beijing to appeal. We arranged meals and accommodations for them. On the 25th, we sent them safely out of Beijing, yet we have never seen them again. After they left, we also went to Tiananmen Square. On September 23, 2000, a fellow practitioner and I were distributing truth-clarifying materials when we were reported to authorities by ill-intentioned people. As a result we were caught and unlawfully taken to the police station. They illegally searched my house without notification. Facing the beast-like police, my husband and son were so frightened. The police thoroughly searched my house, took away my money, and said they would return it later. We were sent to the Haidian detention center. Because I was on hunger strike, after over 10 days, they brought my husband to the detention center to persuade me to give up. They secretly threatened my husband. Since then, my husband was very psychologically traumatized and never cheered up again. He cried every day and could not eat or sleep. His health became worse and worse, and he often went to see the doctor. I was illegally sentenced to a year of forced labor, and after I was released, my husband and I went to the police station to ask for our money back. They did not give it to us. My husband was so frustrated and sad. His health condition was getting worse each day until he passed away on March 23, 2004. If there had been no persecution by Jiang and his political gang, my husband wouldn't have died so soon - he was only 54 years old. It is Jiang and his political gang who murdered my husband.
After I was detained on September 23, 2000, I went on a waterless hunger strike. The policemen called my husband in and tried to persuade me to give up cultivation practice. They then threatened my husband. They also wanted to videotape me, but I did not allow them to: I stood with my back to them. After their trick failed, they called me to go to a room and told me they would give me intravenous drip, injection. I refused, and did not cooperate with them. A bunch of the policemen carried me to the bed, tied me up, and give me intravenous injection for a couple of days. During the injection, my stomach swelled and it was hard to tolerate, and they did not allow me to use the bathroom. Later my hands were so swollen that they looked like buns. They transfused me with a couple of bottles of saline solution each day without letting me use the bathroom, which made me extremely uncomfortable. The policemen tried to force me to give up my waterless hunger strike.
One day, the policemen asked me to go and have my picture taken. I did not cooperate with them. They badly beat, slapped, and kicked me, pressured my stomach with a wooden chair, and crushed my hands and legs so I could not move. I yelled, and they were afraid, so they said, "shut the door."
After I had been detained for 51 days, I was illegally sentenced to a year of forced labor, and sent to the Daxin Hetuan transfer center. Once I entered the room, a group of policeman used electric batons to shock my head and body. I was taken to a room where they asked me to write a "Guarantee Statement," but I refused. Four policemen (one with last name Zhang, another named Sa Xuemei, and the other two with unknown names) arbitrarily shocked me. I told them that it was illegal, and at the same time I tightly held an electric baton with both hands. They couldn't get it from me and so they got another one. I yelled loudly and tried to let the people outside know that if I die, that it was in this room due to the policemen's beatings. They were so afraid that they closed the curtain and shut the door. I was shocked and beaten for over two hours. I had difficulty walking and I had trouble getting in or out of bed. The pain is hard to describe. My body was bruised all over, and six months later my head was still soft.
The mental torture was even more painful in the labor camp. A couple of people surrounded me and managed to "enlighten" me along an evil path. They deprived me of sleep and did not allow me to take a lunch break, while brainwashing me all day long, and then confused my normal mind with hypocrisy and lies. I was confused by this method. Also, because I did not study the Fa deeply enough and did not have enough righteous thoughts, the evil took advantage of me. I started "enlightening" along the evil path and then dropped down to the level of an ordinary person again. It was very dangerous. A well-intentioned fellow practitioner's strong words finally helped me to awaken again this year. I had been unable to read Teacher's recent lectures, and did not know where I had gone wrong. Now I am totally clearheaded. I will publish this as a testimony of the persecution by Jiang and his political gang.
