After Receiving Retribution, a Corporate Leader's Conscience is Awakened
In a coastal city of China, a corporate leader had directly participated in persecuting one of their employees, a Falun Dafa practitioner, since July 20, 1999. Although he knew that the practitioner was a good person, to protect his own job, the officer directly carried out the persecution orders. Some of his actions included threatening the practitioner in attempts to force him to write the Guarantee Statement, putting the practitioner under surveillance, and leading the police to his house.
As soon as the corporate officer was transferred from the company in 2002, he lost an arm due to a bad car accident. Half a year later he still hadn't recovered. He finally came to realize that he had done wrong in persecuting his co-worker. In a reunion with his former co-workers, he apologized to the practitioner in front of everyone, and admitted that he had done bad things against his will for years.
We should understand that whoever participates in persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners, even if they were doing so against their will, it's still wrong, and they will have to face the consequences. A person can only be free from guilt after they've compensated for the damage they've done.
Station Chief of Nankou Town Police Station, Changping District, Beijing City, Received Karmic Retribution and Dies in an Auto Accident
Gong Jianhua, the police station chief of Nankou Town, Changping District, Beijing City, closely followed the Jiang regime's orders in persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners. Most of the practitioners from Nankou Town were illegally sent to labor camps, detained and abducted for brainwashing under Gong Jianhua's orders. Gong Jianhua once said, "As long as I am here, and you haven't been 'transformed' (1), I will harass you." One day in July 2004, Gong Jianhua, along with a Changping City guard leader and the vice manager of Nankou Hot Water Kettle Factory went out to commit further bad deeds against practitioners, but they were killed in a car accident. People recognized this as karmic retribution for persecuting Falun Gong practitioners.
(1) "Transformed" refers to a practitioner giving up Falun Dafa under pressure.

[Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.]
