(Clearwisdom.net) On September 6, 2004, the head of the Spanish House of Representatives was having a meeting with Jia Qinglin, a member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. Jia has been instrumental in the persecution against Falun Gong in China. Prior to Jia's arrival, Falun Gong practitioners waited with banners held up in front of the building.
Suddenly, a welcome group appeared led by a Chinese official and stood in front of the Falun Gong group. They took a welcoming flag out and attempted to hide the banners held by Falun Gong practitioners with it.
Falun Gong practitioners went up to them and also the police to let them know about the persecution that is happening to Falun Gong in China.
Jia's car tour was soon to arrive. When discovering the flag welcoming Jia had not been displayed, the Chinese official became anxious, "What is going on, why haven't you shown the flag?"
The Police who knew about the truth would not allow the welcoming flag to hide Falun Gong's banners, neither would the Chinese people who had just learned about the truth.
Jia's car arrived. The Chinese official was flustered and exasperated, "Hurry up, screen them", he shouted.
However, the flag welcoming Jia was put down like this when he had arrived. Please see photo.
Eventually the welcome group lost their patience and left.
But the Falun Gong practitioners remained unyielding.
The gentleman in the picture was trying his best to conduct the huge coach moving slowly to screen Falun Gong practitioners and their banners as Jia was just about to get out of the car. They were afraid to see practitioners and their banners. However, according to people at the scene, Falun Gong practitioners cried out "Falun Dafa is good!" and "Stop the persecution!". Passersby gave practitioners their encouragement.
It seems that the Chinese official failed to please Jia in this way, while Jia could pretend he did not see the banners, but he could not avoid the sound of the practitioner's voices.
Please also note the Chinese official holding a camera, hiding between two cars and attempting to take photos of practitioners. When a practitioner became aware of his actions, he also held up his camera to take a photo of the official. The Chinese official was frightened as he knew that what he had done was wrong, and he turned his face away immediately and backed off.
