Facts of the Persecution

Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Chen Jinhua from Wuyishan region, Fujian Province was sentenced to one year of forced labor in 2001, and sent to the Rujiang Labor Camp to undergo brainwashing. His term was then extended by three months because he refused to give up cultivation. His mother became very sick due to a mental breakdown after he was imprisoned. She passed away because she could not accept the fact that her innocent son was detained in jail. He lost his job upon his return from the labor camp, and was arrested again in 2003 when he was telling people the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong using his personal story as an example. He was sent back to Rujiang Labor Camp, where his life is in danger due to the brutal tortures he is being subjected to.

Falun Dafa practitioner, Ms. Liu Xiufei from Heishan County, Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province was abducted on July 16, 2004, at 8 a.m. by police from Heishan County Station because she exposed the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong on the web. Police first took her to Heishan County Police Station, and then to Masanjia Labor Camp in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province on the same day.

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Yumei from Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous District was abducted on the evening of July 23, 2004. Ever since then, she has been on a hunger strike without even drinking water to protest her persecution. Local police are preparing to send her to a brainwashing center in Chifeng City, approximately 250 km away.

Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Yang Guangmao from Weifang City, Shandong Province was violently abducted by State Security Police in Weifang City on April 24, 2004. He was later tortured by police from Qingdao Railroad Station. Although he suffered from a severe heart problem and tuberculosis, he had to serve three years in a labor camp in Wangchun, where he was cruelly tortured. He became emaciated and coughed all the time. The State Security Police of Weifang City went to Wangchun Labor Camp many times to also torture him mentally.
