[Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Abduction of Dafa practitioner Liu Xiurong

On July 20, 55-year-old practitioner Ms. Liu Xiurong was abducted while posting Dafa truth clarification information near the No. 2 Wool Textile Mill in Tongliao City after she was reported to the police. Ms. Liu is the wife of Mr. Tian Fujin, a practitioner from Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia. Because he is steadfast in Dafa cultivation, Mr. Tian is now detained in the Wuyuan Forced Labor Camp. Local police have persecuted Ms. Liu many times, but many local residents have shown sympathy toward her family's difficult situation. When their oldest daughter Ms. Tian Fang protested with a hunger strike in the prison, some kind-hearted people in the neighborhood wanted to donate some money to help her.

[Chenxi County, Hunan Province] National Security police persecute Dafa practitioners

On March 13, 2004, Dafa practitioners Ning Tieqiao, Yang Yuman and Hu Chougai were arrested while distributing Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials in Wang'anping Town, Chenxi County, Hunan Province. Officers from the National Security Division in the Chenxi Police Department brutally tortured them afterwards. Later, Yang Yuman and Hu Chougai were sent to a forced labor camp in violation of the Chinese Constitution. Recently, Chenxi Police Department perpetrators submitted a report to the prosecuting attorney's office in an attempt to sentence Ning Tieqiao to prison. After the local practitioners and practitioners from overseas continuously sent forth righteous thoughts and clarifying the truth about Falun Gong to the court, the prosecutor and the police department, the illegal indictment was turned down on the basis of not having enough evidence. Nevertheless, the police department still would not release Ning Tieqiao.

[Beijing] Qinghua University student Qin Peng is undergoing brutal persecution

Dafa practitioner Qin Peng is undergoing cruel persecution in the Beijing Forced Labor Dispatch Center. Qin Peng is a Master's degree student from Qinghua University. He has been illegally sent to two years forced labor in the No. 3 Division of Beijing's Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp and is undergoing long-term, severe physical mistreatment, brainwashing and torture. After his initial release, a few months later Qin Peng was arrested again while telling others about Falun Gong. He has been detaining at the No.1 Division of the dispatch center and has undergone brutal torment there ever since. Qin Peng started to protest with a hunger strike around the Spring Festival of 2004 for several dozen days. Now he is as thin as a dried stick, unable to walk and take care of himself, even when going to the toliet. This has not stopped the police from continuing to torture him and force-feeding him.
