(Clearwisdom.net) Sudbury is located in northwest Ontario, and is home to one of the largest nickel mines in the world. On August 21, more than twenty Toronto practitioners went to the city to promote Falun Dafa.
Preparing for the Toronto practitioners' arrival, a local practitioner
distributed 3,000 Falun Gong fliers, as well as information about this visit.
She also contacted all the local TV stations and newspapers. When practitioners
arrived, MCTV, CTV, and the largest local newspaper, the Sudbury Star, came to
interview them.

The practitioners first held activities in a park. Later, they felt that they should help more residents learn about Falun Dafa, so some practitioners who are members of a waist drum troupe went to the downtown area, where they found a concert taking place. A practitioner suggested that they join the performance. When they asked the concert organizers about this idea, the organizers happily agreed to it. At 4:00 p.m., practitioners took the stage to perform the Lion Dance and waist drum performances, and then the Falun Gong exercises. During the exercise demonstration, some audience members applauded. Then, touched by the practitioners' serenity and peace, the whole site soon quieted down as if time was frozen.
Practitioners who stayed at the park said that more than twenty people learned the exercises. After he heard about the truth of Falun Gong, an older man put $100 in a practitioner's hand. The practitioner told him that Falun Gong doesn't accept donations and thanked him sincerely for his kind wishes. After obtaining Falun Gong truth-clarifying info, many local residents asked where they could learn Falun Gong. Toronto practitioners plan to go back to teach the exercises so that more people will have an opportunity to learn Falun Gong.
