Dafa Practitioner Mr. Zhou Zhi from Liaoning Province in Critical Condition due to Long-term Hunger Strike at the Shenyang City Second Prison
(Clearwisdom.net) Zhou Zhi is a Dafa practitioner from Beixi City,
Liaoning Province. He was arrested last May for his belief in Falun
Dafa, and has been on hunger strike ever since. Last November he
and three other practitioners were secretly sentenced to heavy
prison terms, each up to more than ten years. He was then sent to
the 14th Division of the Shenyang City Second Prison of
Liaoning Province to be detained. Because of long-term hunger
striking and continuous torture, he is now in critical condition.
The prison didn't inform his family to come visit him until this
April. When his family members came to the prison, the police there
forced them to curse Dafa and Teacher before they could be let in.
Dafa Practitioner Ms. Cao Jinling Dies as a Result of Persecution in the Fuxin Forced Labor Camp, Liaoning Province
(Clearwisdom.net) Dafa practitioner Cao Jinling, a resident of
Fuxin, Liaoning Province, had to endure gross abuse and
mistreatment at the hands of female persecutors in the female
division of the Fuxin Forced Labor Camp. Later, she was diagnosed
with a serious illness and passed away on June 17, 2004.
Comprehensive Report: 165 Death Cases Reported in the First Half of 2004, 75 of These Died This Year
(Clearwisdom.net) According to data obtained from the Clearwisdom
website, in the first half-year of 2004, 165 cases of Falun Dafa
practitioners dying as a result of persecution were confirmed
through nongovernmental channels. Among these cases, 75
practitioners were tortured to death. In total, from July 20, 1999,
when Jiang Zemin's and his followers started to brazenly persecute
Falun Dafa, to June 30, 2004, 998 Falun Dafa practitioners are
confirmed to have died as a result of persecution.
