Facts of the Persecution

1) On April 24, 2004, Weifang City, Shandong Province Dafa practitioner Yang Guangmao (male) was abducted by Weifang City State Security police. They also confiscated 5,000 yuan (1) that Yang had recently borrowed from his friend. On April 27, Qingdao City Public Security Division illegally detained Yang. After diagnosing Yang with tuberculosis and heart disease, the authorities of the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp refused to admit him. However, the Qingdao Railroad Public Security Division then used fabricated "evidence" and bribes to alter this refusal into a three year forced labor sentence.

2) Chengan County, Handan City, Hebei Province Political and Security Section chief Lian Rihong, the former police station director of Xinyi village, Chengan County, once crazily persecuted Dafa practitioners to build his political assets and climb up in government position. Now he has become the county Political and Security Division chief (the director of the local 610 Office), and he continues to persecute Dafa practitioners by ordering kidnappings, confiscation of practitioners' houses and the detention of Dafa practitioners.
