Facts of the Persecution

On June 15, 2002, perpetrators from Cangzhou City's Riot Control Division ransacked the home of Dafa practitioner Cai Guozeng and his wife. Mr. Cai is a former senior engineer at the Cangzhou City Machine Tools Factory in Cangzhou City, Hebei Province. Cai Guozeng is currently being held at Jidong Prison in Tangshan City, and his blood pressure is 180 because of the torture he has suffered. His family has suffered immeasurably from the persecution in the past few years.

Dafa practitioner Wu Xiuhua from Huolinhe City, Neimenggu Autonomic Region, was illegally held at the Muji Forced Labor Camp in Neimenggu. Because she resisted the persecution and staged a hunger strike, the guards forced her to do slave labor. On the ninth day of her hunger strike they ordered Ms. Wu to carry fertilizer bags weighing 100 jin (about 110 lb). The guards also made Wu Xiuhua run 90 laps in the field. One day in May 2000, when Wu Xiuhua was practicing the Falun Dafa sitting meditation exercise, the guards whipped her with a bamboo cane and poured cold water on her. Then they shocked her with electric batons. Wu Xiuhua almost suffered a mental collapse. She also sustained two grapefruit-sized lumps on her buttocks from the beating.

I am a Falun Gong practitioner from Baoding, Hebei Province. In late 2000, I went to Beijing to validate Dafa and heard many stories about the persecution of Dafa practitioners. The perpetrators beat and shocked the head, chin and mouth of a 72-year-old female Dafa practitioner with electric batons until her front teeth fell out and her legs turned black and blue from the blows of a stick. One female practitioner was forced to wear a helmet used on death row inmates sentenced to electrocution, which almost suffocated her. Drug addict inmates sexually tortured practitioner Zhang Yijue by forcibly inserting a device made of 12 toothbrushes into her vagina to cause her serious pain and injury.

When I was sent to Baoding Forced Labor Camp, the perpetrators tortured me with a method called "Leaning Against a Big Board" (1). Some practitioners were tortured so severely they lost all feeling in their arms for 6 months. They also ordered drug addict inmates to torture female practitioners by viciously scratchings their vaginal areas; they yanked elderly female practitioners' hair; and they stabbed practitioners' fingers and toes with very thick needles. Practitioner Ye Dajun from Xiong County was buried in the snow for seven days and seven nights. Then they handcuffed him to a tree in a painful posture until he lost all function of one arm.

Perpetrators and Their Crimes

Around 9:00 p.m. on February 26, 2004, the home of Dafa practitioner Wang Yuhong and his wife, Li Rongxiu was broken into, as well as that of Xu Hongliang and Dong Guiwen. Perpetrators who abducted these good people included Tian Yuguo, Sun Hongsheng, Sun Tianrong and others from the Koubu Town Police Station and other perpetrators from the Qingzhou City Police Department "610 Office" (2), Shandong Province. They sent the practitioners to the Qingzhou City Detention Center where they are presently still being held.

On March 5, perpetrators Tian Yuguo, Sun Tianrong, Li Ming and others abducted practitioners Zhao Tianxiu and Chen Jiucun. Zhao Tianxiu was tortured for two days and two nights until she lost consciousness. Collaborators (3) Wang Sulan and Sun Yuling stripped off practitioner Zhao Tianxiu's clothes. Then they violently rubbed her body with a very rough object to cause her extreme pain. Zhao Tianxiu rolled on the ground in pain. Her screams could be heard from afar. The next day her whole body turned black and blue. She could not hold onto things and could not walk.

During the time practitioner Chen Jiucun was held at a brainwashing class, collaborators Li Xiaoying and Wang Sulan didn't allow her to sleep. Whenever she closed her eyes the collaborators would slap her face, hit her with their fists and kick her. They tortured her for four days and four nights. Chen Jiucun jumped from the second floor of the building to escape. She waited for a bus on the street. Perpetrators Xing Baoan and others from the "610 Office" found her and took her back to the brainwashing class.

(1) "Leaning Against a Big Board:" in this torture the practitioner is forced to lie down on a bed made of wooden boards without any padding. His feet and hands are handcuffed tightly to the headboard. If the practitioner refuses to write a pledge promising to give up practicing Falun Gong, he would be handcuffed in such a manner indefinitely. Many practitioners are handcuffed this way for long periods of time. They only get a short break for going to the bathroom. They are often handcuffed like that for more than a dozen days at a time

(2) The "610 Office" is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.

(3) Collaborators are former Falun Gong practitioners who have gone astray and renounced Falun Dafa after extensive torture and brainwashing and are now used to persecute fellow practitioners.
