Facts of Persecution

1) Ms. Chang Xinhong and Ms. Han Yugui both work at the Laiwu City Technical School in Shandong Province. They have gone to Beijing several times to appeal for Falun Gong. Each time when they came back, they were detained and fined thousands of yuan. The former principal of the technical school Liu Yi ridiculed the two ladies at the school employee meeting. At the end of the year, Liu Yi also instigated other employees to give really bad evaluations of the two ladies, causing them to fail the annual examination. As a result, neither one of the ladies got a salary raise. Later the two ladies were sentenced to 3 years in prison.

2) My name is Wu Wenjin and I am a Falun Gong practitioner from Youhao District, Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province. Since last September, the "610 Office" from Youhao District and Xinjieji Police Station have come to my home to harass me many times. Due to the scare that the harassment brought to her, my mother-in-law often had heart attacks. On April 2, 2004, they came to my home again attempting to force me to give up my belief in Dafa. They also found my husband, asking him to cooperate with them so they could take me to the Yichun Brainwashing Class. My husband firmly refused to cooperate with them so their plan failed. However, before they left, they threatened, "Several days from now we will send you to the brainwashing class." I have now left home and am moving about from place to place to avoid further persecution.

3) Wang Dawei, Gao Ke, Zhao Fengshan and Gao Chunbo are all policemen from Yinmahe Labor Camp in Jiutai City, Jilin Province. They often beat Falun Gong practitioners after they got drunk. Many practitioners have been severely injured and have been unable to fully recover even after a long period of time. The bodily injury also caused them mental trauma. The persecuted practitioners included Jin Fengxue, Wang Zhongfu, Wang Xifeng, Li Xiangzuo, Zhou Hechun, Li Rongxian (who had been tortured to death), and others. For a very long time, these policemen had been detaining practitioners beyond their original terms. They also used various tortures on practitioners to persecute them.
