(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Ying Zi (alias) in Hubei Province was cruelly persecuted because of her firm determination in practicing Falun Gong. Her husband could not bear the oppressive mental pressure and divorced her. Since then, Ying Zi has taken care of their young child and faced the double pressure of persecution and the possibility of being laid off from her job while having no help to support herself and her child. Despite the difficulty of her circumstances, Ying Zi is still able to think of the welfare of others first. At her ex-husband's wedding banquet on New Year's Day, Ying Zi sent the most precious truth-clarifying flyers to the bride and groom as well as the guests.
Ying Zi had a job and her ex-husband worked in a government department. After she began practicing Falun Dafa in 1997, she was strict with herself using the standard of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance," respecting her parents-in-law and maintaining good relationships with relatives and neighbors. The couple loved each other and lived a very happy life.
After July 20, 1999, as the suppression by Jiang's regime continuously escalated, because Ying Zi did not want to give up practicing Falun Gong, she was detained, sent to a forced labor camp, forced to attend a brainwashing class, and deprived of her job and salary. I am a person who has benefited by practicing Falun Gong. Today is New Year's Day. As soon as she finished her words, everyone applauded. Ying Zi took this opportunity to bring out the prepared red happy gifts to give to those people longing for the truth one by one. She just finished one table. There were many young women behind her stretching out their hands, "Don't forget me! Please give me one!" People who were eating talked to each other, "I have read the Falun Gong flyers every time they are distributed. What is said on the flyers is reasonable and is really for the sake of our goodness. I don't know what's on today's flyer. Let's take a look quickly!" So, many people simply put aside their bowls and chopsticks to read the truth-clarifying flyers.
An elderly person who looked like a cadre and several followers next to him seemed to have a lingering interest. He had read the flyers Falun Gong practitioners distributed before, but it was the first time he had seen a Falun Gong practitioner distributing flyers on a public occasion, so he left his seat and asked Ying Zi who she was. Ying Zi candidly told him she was the ex-wife of the cadre who was holding the wedding banquet that night.
