1. [Chongqing, Sichuan Province] Practitioner Hu Zongyu is Tortured in Huayan Detention Center
Chongqing Dafa practitioner Hu Zongyu was arrested by Yangjiaping Police Station officers on January 12, 2004, while clarifying the truth at Yangjiaping, Jiulongpo District, Chongqing. During the detention, the police tortured Hu Zongyu and ransacked Hu's home. Hu Zongyu is being held in the Huayan Detention Center, Jiulongpo District, Chongqing, and Hu's family members are not allowed to visit. Hu's situation is still unknown so far.
2. [Baicheng City, Jilin Province] Atrocities Committed by Zhenlai County Zhennan Sheep Field Police Against Falun Gong Practitioners
After 8:00 p.m. on the night of May 9, 2004, several policemen including Shen Jun, (the station chief of Zhennan Sheep Field Police Station, Zhenlai County, Baicheng City, Jilin Province), Songyuan City public security officers, and Wu Feng (has been transferred), and the station chief of Hongguang Farm Police Station rushed into the home of Mr. Wen Jianzhong, a Dafa practitioner in Hongguang Farm, Guo County, Songyuan City. After the police ransacked the whole place and found nothing, they tried to abduct Wen Jianzhong. Finally Mr. Wen's neighbors stopped the police and their bad deed was not successful.
Afterwards, another police car drove to the home of another practitioner, Wen Jianhua. It was because the police discovered Falun Gong flyers in Zhennan, and both Wen Jianhua and Wen Jianzhong had been there. The police, using the excuse of wanting to find out more information, wanted Wen Jianhua to go with them to the office. They said they would let him go in a half-hour. After saying that, they quickly forced him in the car and took him from Songyuan City to Baicheng City's Zhenlai County Detention Center for further persecution. Wen Jianhua has been sentenced to two years of forced labor.
The personnel of Zhennan Sheep Field in Zhenlai County, Baicheng City, even question everyday people who pick up a Dafa truth-clarification flyer. The practitioners there are severely persecuted. The policeman, Shen Jun, has harassed the relatives of Wen Jianzhong at Zhennan many times.

3. [Wuchang City, Heilongjiang Province] Public Security Bureau and "610 Office" Viciously Persecute Dafa Practitioners
Around 8:40 p.m. on the night of June 3, 2004, three policemen from Heilongjiang Wuchang City Public Security Bureau suddenly rushed into Ms. Yu Lihua's home, and asked her to sign a search warrant. Yu Lihua refused. Then, the three policemen forcibly searched her home. At that time, Yu Lihua was home with a 10 year-old child. The child was terrified and could not stop crying. Yu lihua was taken to Wuchang "610 Office" (1) brainwashing center.
At noon on June 4, 2004, the Dafa truth-clarification material production site at the home of the couple Zhang Guojun and Bai Yuqin was ransacked. Zhang Guojun jumped from the 2nd floor. He was injured and arrested by police. The detention location of Zhang Guojun and Bai Yuqin is not clear. Zhang Shuqing and Doctor Zou were also abducted on the same day.
It was reported that more than ten Dafa practitioners have been arrested and detained in Wuchang Prison and the Wuchang "610 Office" brainwashing center. Their names are not known.
Wuchang City has started to search further for Dafa practitioners and are planning a broader raid.
4. [Chaozhou City, Guangdong Province] Practitioners Li Wentao and Zhang Shengli are Kidnapped by "610 Office"
Over 60-year-old Mr. Li Wentao is a Dafa practitioner in Chaozhou City, Guangdong Province. He was arrested at work by the Chaozhou City "610 Office" on June 3. He was sent to Guangdong Sanshui Forced Labor Camp the next day.
The Chaozhou City "610 Office" arrested ten Falun Gong practitioners a year ago, still detains them in a prison, and continues to inhumanly torture them. The Chaozhou City "610 Office" threatened, "The Party has the political power now. We can do anything. How easy it is to randomly charge you? There is no where to report the injustice."
Mr. Zhang Shengli is about 70 years old, and is a Dafa practitioner in Gurao Town, Chaoyang District, Shantou City. At 5:00 a.m. on June 7, he was arrested by the Shantou City "610 Office." His whereabouts are unknown. He has probably been sent to the brainwashing center on the 8th floor of Shantou City Political and Judiciary Committee. This brainwashing center has continually persecuted practitioners, but proceeds secretly in fear of being exposed.
The lawless personnel of Shantou City Education Department have forced the teachers and students to "criticize" the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" many times. It is said, this year's mid-year exam questions even had contents of slandering Dafa, thus poisoning the students.
5. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Practitioners Tang Ying and Luo Hui are Arrested by Chenghua Public Security Sub-bureau
Chengdu Dafa practitioner Ms. Tang Ying, 36, lives at No. 9 (inside Hongguang dormitory), Jianshe Road, Chenghua District, Chengdu City. At 1:30 p.m. on May 19, 2004, Tang Ying was working at "Meijia" beauty salon on Xinhong Road, Chenghua District, as several policemen from Chenghua Public Security Sub-bureau suddenly rushed in. They ransacked the beauty salon, arrested Tang Ying, owner Ms. Luo Hui (a Dafa practitioner), and her boyfriend. They are illegally held in the Pi County Detention Center. Luo Hui's boyfriend has been released because he does not practice Falun Gong.
On the same day, Tang Ying's home at fourth floor, Unit 2, Building 20, No. 6 Jianshe Road was ransacked. Because Tang Ying is illegally detained, her 6-year-old son is left crying and asking for his mother. The family presently cannot afford to send him to kindergarten.
