(Clearwisdom.com) The former Chinese Chairman Jiang Zemin implemented the persecution against Falun Dafa practitioners on July 20, 1999, terrorizing the entire Chinese nation. In Xianyu Town, Dingxing County, Hebei Province in northern China, Falun Dafa practitioners who live according to the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance" have been brutally persecuted for being good people.
Since implementing the campaign against Falun Dafa on July 20, 1999, Falun Dafa practitioners in Xianyu town have been ordered by the authorities to turn in their Falun Dafa books. They were forced to report to the village officer for duty no matter how busy they were in their farm work. Some practitioners were even held in the village office, thus, disrupting their ability to provide for their families.
Several Falun Dafa practitioners of Xianyu Town went to Beijing to appeal against the persecution of Falun Dafa at the China central government. They were arrested by the authorities and later escorted back to Xianyu Town. One officer, Tian Xiaonan, forced them into an empty dark room and stripped their clothes off. Then, he brutally beat them. Liang Hubo, the former Party secretary in Xianyu Town, slapped Dafa practitioner Lu Guiying across the face a dozen times. Li Jingfu, the director of the police station in Xianyu Town, abused practitioners with dirty and defaming words. When practitioner Guo Fengxia righteously protested the vile conduct of the police, they beat her unconscious without mercy.
The police forced practitioners to remain awake for as long as four days and nights. They did not let practitioners eat much. They played mah jong (a gambler's game in China) and drank alcohol when they were not occupied during the day. Then, they would cruelly torture and beat practitioners in the evening in various ways such as kicking them hard, beating their buttocks with heavy iron rod, smashing their ankles with wine bottles, jabbing needles into their legs, whipping their body with plastic pipes, forcing them to kneel on steel bars, etc. Some practitioners were beaten black and blue. They also forced practitioners to write statements to renounce Falun Dafa. They threatened the practitioners' relatives to submit 10,000 yuan (1), or else the practitioners would be sent to the labor camps. What is the difference between these perpetrators and bandits? Three practitioners' families managed to scrape together the money required to avoid having their family members sent to the forced labor camp. However, the perpetrators further extorted another 3,000-5,000 yuan from some families before returning the practitioners. Falun Dafa practitioners Guo Fengxia and Ma Yin refused to submit to their bribe and were illegally forced into the labor camp. Practitioners who came home were not able to resume their livelihood as they were forced to report to the village office each day for duty. Those perpetrators even detained them to prevent them from returning home on certain sensitive days.
