Before I clarified the facts about Falun Dafa to her, doctors at a major local hospital had just diagnosed her as suffering from diabetes. The doctor told her clearly that this kind of illness cannot be completely cured. It could only be controlled and monitored. I searched for some actual cases on Clearwisdom Net, to let her read how ordinary people realized the truth about Falun Dafa and obtained good fortune and well-being after upholding justice, and even miraculously recover from severe illnesses. "Sister" Han completely believes the stories and often silently recites in her heart, "Falun Dafa is great!"
During the process of clarifying the truth about Dafa, I concentrated on clearly explaining the facts and did not overly emphasize the miraculous healing effects. But after just a short period of three to four weeks, "sister" Han came to tell me that the result of a subsequent medical checkup at the hospital showed that she was completely normal and her diabetes had gone away!
