Facts of The Persecution

-- Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zheng Baozhen, 52, is a nurse and director of the surgery department at the Yitulihe Railroad Hospital. She was abducted on May 24, 2004 by police from the Haila-er Railroad Police Station, and her home was ransacked. She is currently detained in the Haila-er Railroad Detention Center, and has been on hunger strike for 10 days to protest her unlawful detention.

-- I witnessed a lot of torture in the Masanjia No. 2 Women's Labor Camp. Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Song Guixiang became very sick there and could not take care of herself on a daily basis. Practitioner Ms. Sun Jianjun is a beautiful woman, but she suffered a mental collapse due to the extreme physical and mental abuse she received. Guards hung practitioner Ms. Huang Guifen by her handcuffed wrists, which eventually caused her arms to fracture. In addition, I saw wounds on her body. Another practitioner, whose name I don't know, was very strong and healthy when entering the labor camp, but became sick from a serious heart disease after being tortured here.

-- I was arrested in December 1999 when I went to Beijing to appeal, and was sentenced to two years in a forced labor camp. I was sent to the Fuxin Forced Labor Camp in Liaoning Province at the end of December 1999. There was another Falun Dafa practitioner, Ms. Li Yanjun, who had a similar experience to mine. Police and prisoners cruelly tortured her because she firmly believed in Dafa and our Master. One time her face was deformed from brutal beatings by guards, her whole body was purple with bruises, and she could not raise her arms. It took her a full month to recover.

-- My name is Zheng Xinghua, and I am a Falun Dafa practitioner in Hot Spring Development District, Xianning County, Hubei Province. During the past four years of Jiang's Falun Gong persecution, I have been arrested three times, my home has been ransacked six times, more than 10,000 Yuan (1) has been extorted from me, and at one point I became destitute and homeless in order to avoid being wrongfully arrested at home. The second time I was arrested, I was taken to the Xianning County Detention Center. There, a fellow practitioner, Ms. Xie, and I both went on hunger strike to protest the detention. After five days, they force-fed us. We both had difficulty walking after being force-fed for several days. A female prisoner who helped the police force-feed us told us later that the police put poison in the food they force-fed to us.

-- The following is an experience from a fellow practitioner in China:

Around 10:00 a.m. on March 8, 2004, while I was farming in a field, I saw a bright white, round Falun when I stretched and looked up. The Falun was floating slowly. Then I saw many Falun, some containing circles with srivatsa symbols, and some containing Tai-ji. Some of the circles seemed to have an "S" in the middle, some seemed to have an "O" in the middle, and some had some thing I did not recognize. Some circles of Falun were inter-connected, with rings of three, five, seven, up to an infinite number of Falun. The Falun were crystal clear, white, and so bright that it almost hurt my eyes. They were so beautiful! I saw countless Falun around me, like snow flakes filling the entire sky, and falling to the earth. While I was watching this wonderful scene a strange feeling filled my heart, and I almost cried. I knew it was Master being merciful towards me, letting me see Falun fill the sky, encouraging us Dafa disciples, and reminding us that time is running out, and that we should seize the day and solidly do the three things Master told us to do.
