(Clearwisdom.net) On May 26, 2004, Jane Dai and her daughter Fadu, together with Norwegian Dafa practitioners, were invited to Elvebakken Nursery School in Oslo to introduce Falun Gong and the persecution through the Petals for Peace project.
Before they arrived, one of the teachers taught the children how to say "Ni hao," so they could welcome Fadu in Chinese.
To start with the children were told the story of how Fadu misses her father after the Chinese policemen took him away just because he practiced Falun Gong. The children were shown pictures of beautiful Chinese landscapes and nature, lotus flowers and of Jane Dai and Fadu's family practicing Falun Gong. The children listened carefully and asked many questions. After the story was told they all wanted to see if they could sit in the double lotus meditation position.
Afterwards Jane, Fadu, and the other practitioners taught the children how to fold paper lotus flowers. The atmosphere was very harmonious and the children enjoyed it very much. The teachers also enjoyed it, and appreciated the visit. They thought the Petals for Peace project was a very good way to introduce to children both Falun Gong and the seriousness of the persecution going on in China.
