(Clearwisdom.net) During the nearly nine months I was detained and persecuted in a brainwashing center, I had the experience of coordinating as one body and using righteous thoughts to stop the evil from controlling people to commit atrocities. I have recorded the events here to share with my fellow practitioners.
The first night I was abducted and taken to a prison, the director called me in for interrogation. I used the opportunity to clarify the truth to him. I told him about my sickness before I began practicing Dafa, and the changes since I began the practice. I told him, "I haven't'' violated the law and I should not be here." He violently slapped a yardstick on the table and shouted loudly. I thought, ""Regardless of how fierce you are, I''m going to behave according the Fa and not to cooperate with the evil." After the interrogation, the director asked me to sign a statement against Dafa. I said, "I" won't' sign it. I didn't' do anything against the law." I turned around and walked out of the office. The director shouted madly behind me. During the next few months, every time they called me for interrogation, I never reported or signed anything. That is why the people from "610 Office" (1) did not like to talk to me. I also didn't' recite the prison rules. Every day, I got up at 4 a.m. to send forth righteous thoughts.
While I was locked up in the prison, the guards would call my name for attendance. I soon realized that I shouldn't' reply. As a result, I was beaten by the guards and criminal inmates 9 times, forced to stand still for a long periods of time more than 10 times, and sent to solitary confinement for a month. One night near the end of June 2002, I didn't' reply during the roll call. A guard called me to the yard and asked why I didn't' reply. I said, "I'm"' a practitioner. I should not be here." Right after I said this, the guard hit me in the face and said that I was going against the government. I said, ""Our practitioners do not participate in politics, nor are we against the government." Immediately, he hit me in the face again. Again he asked the same question and hit me when I answered. On the fifth or sixth time, my face was red from being beaten. The marks were still on my face the next day. One of the guards then ordered me to stand still against the wall for over an hour and then called me to the office. Other people from the "610 Office" hit me in the face and said that if I wouldn't' reply during roll call the next day, they would punish me in front of people from seven prison cells. After I went back to my cell, I told the other eleven practitioners, "I"f they drag me out tomorrow, I will shout 'y'ou shouldn't' persecute Dafa practitioners'' while sending righteous thoughts." The other practitioners said that they would shout and send forth righteous thoughts as well. I sent forth righteous thoughts whole night instead of sleeping.
At 8:20 the next morning, the prison guards and officials from the "610 Office," a total of about 6-7 people, came and shouted my name. I did not answer them. Then the officials from the "610 Office" grabbed my hands and pulled me out. I shouted all along the way, "Stop persecuting Dafa practitioners!" My fellow practitioners joined in and also shouted, "S"top persecuting Dafa practitioners!" Practitioners from other cells heard the voices and they also shouted, "S"top persecuting Dafa practitioners!" The shouting became very loud. The police and officials did not expect such a scene and they became scared. Only one official from the "610 Office" hit my hands while I held my palm erect. Through it all of it we kept holding our palms erect. My hand became swollen due to the beating, but I still held it erect and sent forth righteous thoughts. The shouting from my fellow practitioners became louder and louder. The officials from the "610 Office" left me and another practitioner alone, and went to a corner room to hide. The two of us then sent forth righteous thoughts in the yard. After about half an hour, they sent two officials from the "610 Office," one man and one woman, to slap me in the face. I again shouted, "S"top persecuting Dafa practitioners!" The two officials then stopped and left. Eventually the police became afraid to keep me in yard and tried to force me into a dark room. I refused to go, and was beaten and pushed into the dark room, where I was thrown to the floor. One hour later, officials from the "610 Office" came to talk to me and agreed to my conditions.
We cooperated as one body and stopped the police from committing atrocities with our righteous thoughts. I realized that the evil is extremely afraid of us working together as a whole body to resist cooperating with them. During the following five months, every time they did roll call, I refused to answer. Finally, I left the brainwashing center with righteous thoughts.
From my experience in the brainwashing center, I realized that if we all act according to what Teacher' tells us to do in his teachings, the evil will be very afraid and the environment will be completely different.
(1) "610 Office": an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.
