Facts of the Persecution

Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Peng Lekuan from Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province is illegally jailed in the No.1 Ward of the Provincial Huaibei Prison. He is forced to do heavy labor for long periods of time, and is physically and mentally exhausted. The doctor discovered a month ago that his stomach was seriously damaged. Due to the long period that he could not eat and the hard labor, he has lost a considerable amount of weight and is dying. The prison administration has sent him to the Huaibei Prison Hospital.

Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Deng Zijiang is 38 years old and one of the prominent doctors at the Youjiang District People's Hospital in Beise City, Guangxi District. After the persecution of Falun Dafa began in 1999, he went to the Central District Appeals Office to appeal. In October 2000, he was sentenced to a labor camp for 2 years. His term was extended an additional six months, because he continued doing Falun Dafa exercises. To punish him, the police and prisoners beat and tortured him. With righteous thoughts and righteous actions, he walked unnoticed out of the labor camp in a dignified manner.

The Kuancheng County "610 Office" and the State Security Team Police in Shandong Province persecute Falun Dafa practitioners rampantly. Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Bai Cuihua is in her 40s and lives in Dashizhuzi Township, Tangdaohe Town, Kuancheng County, Shandong Province. She was detained, fined, sent to a labor camp, and then sent to brainwashing center for clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa. Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Shuge lives in Dashizhuzi Township, Tangdaohe Town, Kuancheng County, Shandong Province. She was abducted by police on October 28, 1999. She and her husband, Jin Shouchun (also a practitioner), were both detained 15 days. They were locked in cold detention rooms with beds without mattresses or bedding.
