(Clearwisdom.net) Last November, a practitioner in a Dafa material center in China told me excitedly, "I have something good to show you--a VCD of Teacher's lecture at the Lantern Festival."
Surprised to hear that there was a VCD of the lecture, I replied, "Teacher's lecture at the Lantern Festival has already been compiled and published on Clearwisdom. Are you passing around an unauthorized video of Teacher's lecture? We should immediately destroy it."
The practitioners were silent and didn't argue. When I asked another practitioner what he thought, he responded vaguely that my suggestion seemed right. The first practitioner then said that a practitioner from another Dafa material center had given him the VCD. That practitioner had gotten the VCD from someone outside the material center, and they had made some copies.
Circulating an unauthorized VCD of Teacher's had already happened last year, and practitioners did not pay much attention to the matter. This sort of thing actually undermines the Fa. It occurred because of practitioners' attachments and was exploited by the evil.
About a month later, we heard that most of the practitioners in the above-mentioned material center were arrested, and the Dafa material centers in that city were destroyed. I think these terrible losses had to be related to the practitioners' circulating the unauthorized VCDs. Speaking about this matter, Teacher said:
"If you, as a student [of Dafa], do not follow Master's requirements, it is definitely no simple thing. The old forces have arranged for all Dafa disciples a set of their things, so if a Dafa disciple doesn't follow Master's requirements, he must be following the old forces' arrangements." If we truly become more clearheaded, strictly take the Fa as Teacher, and consistently do as Teacher says, then we will be able to walk the road that Teacher has arranged, eliminate the old forces' arrangements, and save the world's beings. Otherwise, we would be opening ourselves up to be exploited by the old forces.
