(Clearwisdom.net) On May 13, practitioners from southern Germany and Austria celebrated World Falun Dafa Day in Munich's Marienplatz.

Practitioners displayed banners reading, "Falun Dafa is Great" and "The World Needs Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" and posters showing "Falun Dafa Flourishing around the World" and "the Journey of Falun Dafa". Many tourists watched practitioners demonstrate the exercises and stopped to study the posters. Some even learned the exercises with much interest. There were also some people who went to nearby bookstores afterwards to order Zhuan Falun. Many asked practitioners to help them write down "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" and their name in Chinese, some also asked for their relatives and friends. When they learned that "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" has been banned for 5 years in China and that practitioners have been persecuted, brainwashed, abused in mental hospitals, forced to leave their homes to avoid arrest, and even tortured to death, they couldn't believe it. Many signed a petition to "Bring Jiang Zemin to Justice".
A German held a practitioner's hand and said: "While China is violating human rights to this extent, the German government and some politicians are turning a blind eye to it because of business interests. This is so sad. If we cannot even preserve "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance," what else can we still have'"
There were also many tourists from Mainland China visiting Marienplatz that day. They curiously watched the exercise demonstration and posters, and many of them accepted Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials. Some even took pictures and filmed the occasion to show friends and family back in China.
