Solemn Declaration
Some of my family members are Falun Dafa (Falun Gong) practitioners. When the "610 Office" (1) was persecuting them, I said things that were very disrespectful toward Falun Gong, and burned the Dafa books. I even invited the persecutors to dine. Now that I realize what I've done I feel very regretful. From now on I will support Falun Dafa and the practitioners. I will use my actions to compensate for the damage I've done.

(1) The "610 Office" is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.
Solemn Declaration
The "Guarantee Statement" (1) that I wrote for my mother [a Dafa practitioner] in March is null and void. I know Falun Dafa is good, and it's a righteous principle! From now on I will take the opportunities to tell the public that Falun Dafa is good, and I will compensate for the bad things that I've done against Dafa.

(1) "Guarantee Statement": A statement to declare that one is remorseful for practicing Falun Gong and guarantees not to practice Falun Gong again, not to go to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong, and never again associate with any Falun Dafa practitioners.

My mother is an honest and kind person. She was handicapped but still helped others. But as a 60-year old, they locked her up in a forced labor camp because she practices Falun Gong. I was very desperate and visited her. When I saw her I wanted to bring her back home, and I wrote the "Guarantee Letter" for her. I hereby declare that the letter is null and void. I will be even more supportive of her practice. Her health improved and she became very kind after she started practicing. In the past, I always had arguments with my wife, but now my family is very harmonized, all thanks to Falun Dafa bringing peace to our family. From now on I will tell the public that Falun Dafa is good, and I will compensate for the damage I've done.

I am a family member of a practitioner. My wife practices Falun Gong, and I never opposed it. But she disappeared and I didn't hear from her for a few days when she went to Beijing to appeal after July 20, 1999. Later I learned from the police that she was locked in a detention center. The staff in the detention center said that they would release her if I gave them all her Falun Dafa books and other materials, and write a statement saying that she'd stop practicing. Because I was worried that she might get tortured or be sent somewhere else, I turned in all her books and materials. I thought that she wouldn't practice when she came back, so those materials would be useless to her. But she didn't stop when she came back. My wife wasn't healthy before she began practicing Falun Gong: she had heart palpitations and suffered from rheumatoid arthritis. All these were healed after she started practicing. This is the power of Falun Gong! The practitioners believe in "Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance," and they are good people. If everyone were like them, our society would be very peaceful. I was wrong to turn in the books and materials. From now on I will support my wife, and I support the efforts of Falun Gong to clarify the truth and validate the truth. I will tell the public the truth, and compensate for the damage I've done.

My husband and I are not practitioners, but we believe that Falun Dafa is a righteous principle, and we believe in "Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance." We believe that good is rewarded with good and evil meets evil. But in July 20 of 1999, during the time our daughter went to validate Falun Dafa and wasn't home, her mother in-law sent all her Falun Gong books and materials to us because she was afraid. We thought that it was very serious, and, in our hearts, we blamed our daughter. We felt that the weak can't beat the strong, so she should stop practicing. We felt that people might find the books, so my husband put them in a bag and threw them away; I agreed silently. Later we read the materials clarifying the truth for Falun Gong, and realized the consequences of doing bad things against Dafa. We felt regretful for what we did. We'll tell the public the truth of Falun Gong and compensate for the damage we've done.

Solemn Declaration
I am not a practitioner, but my parents practice Falun Dafa. I didn't realize what my position should be when my parents were going to validate Dafa in Beijing. Under various occasions of persecution I witnessed my family members being subjected to inhumane torture. In these tough situations, I suffered from the pressures from society, family, my attachment to reputation and myself. In addition to watching the propaganda on TV, I began to have ill will toward Dafa. After various pressures, I felt that Falun Dafa was torturing my family. I tore up the Dafa books on three occasions, and I received retribution on all three occasions.
In 2000, my father went to Beijing to appeal, and the local government officials and police department unconstitutionally detained my mother for almost 20 days. They wouldn't let her go home for the New Year holiday if she didn't write the "Guarantee Statement." After seeing my family members' faces deformed by the police beatings and bruises covering their bodies as a result of the torture, I felt very pained. I thought that I would do anything to get them home. So, under pressure, I wrote the "Guarantee Statement" for them. Later, from reading the Falun Gong truth clarification materials, as well as through my personal experience, I slowly came to understand Dafa, and understood that Dafa can make people kind and virtuous. Once, my friend and I were riding a bike, and a car hit us from behind. We flew 10 meters across the road. Our bike wasn't damaged and we were not hurt. Our clothes weren't torn, either. I didn't feel scared at all. I was scared when I thought about it later. I told my mother what happened, and she said, "It was our compassionate Teacher that saved you." Now I know that Falun Dafa is good, and that Jiang Zemin is torturing kind people, sentencing and sending them to labor camps, mental hospitals, etc, and heavily fining them. He created various scenarios and lies to fool the people. We were all fooled by Jiang's evil regime. Let me bring an awareness of the truth back to the people with my personal experience, and change their view of Falun Dafa. Remember that Falun Dafa is good, and then you'll have a wonderful future. I hereby declare that tearing up the books and writing the "Guarantee Statements" for my parents were wrong. Let my actions that weren't in accordance with Dafa become null and void.
