(Clearwisdom.net) On October 28, 1999, Falun Dafa practitioner Bi Yehai was illegally abducted from home by the Huajia Town local police station in Nong'an County, Jilin Province. The police forced him to say whether he practiced Falun Gong or not. Mr. Bi said, "Yes!" Falun Dafa benefited his body and mind. How could he give it up! Solely because he persisted in becoming a good person and following the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance, Mr. Bi was illegally imprisoned for 43 days in the Second Detention Center of Nong'an County and was fined 1,500 yuan (1).
On February 13, 2000, the Huajia Town local police station illegally abducted Mr. Bi again from his home and sent him to the Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City, Jilin Province. In the labor camp, the instructors instigated the regular criminal inmates to torture Dafa practitioners. They handcuffed practitioners and kicked them, beat them with bed boards, and poured cold water on them. After five months, Mr. Bi was sent to the Fenjin Labor Camp. Two months later, he was released on bail for medical treatment. The police extorted 400 yuan from his family members for a so-called "medical fee."
On December 23, 2000, Mr. Bi was illegally kidnapped by the Political Security Section of Nong'an County, Jilin Province. The Section Chief, Liu Shangkuan, beat him about the head with a rubber club. Unexpectedly, the club broke into three sections. In a case of extreme cruelty, Liu Shangkuan instigated his driver to pierce Mr. Bi's fingers with an awl made from bike wheel spokes, causing heavy bleeding. Later on, Mr. Bi was sent to the Dongdaqiao Lockup, Nong'an County, where he was imprisoned for 12 days and fined 3,300 yuan.
On November 17, 2000, Ms. Liu Xinghua went to Beijing to exercise her legal right to appeal on behalf of Falun Dafa, but was reported to the authorities by Sun Chenggui. The town secretary of Huajia Town, Nong'an County and the village secretary of Pingjia Town, Wang Yongqing, went to Beijing to illegally abduct Ms. Liu. Later on, she was sent to the Second Detention Center of Nong'an County. After the authorities extorted 3,400 yuan from her, they went to Ms. Liu's home and stole three carloads of corn worth more than 3,000 yuan.
In July 2002, Ms. Liu was illegally abducted by the Huajia Town local police and was sent to the brainwashing class held by the "610 Office" (2). After she underwent forceful brainwashing for seven days, she was released. Ms. Liu's approximately four Chinese acres of crops of cabbage had all rotted in the field, and her family had lost more than 7,000 yuan.
