Several weeks ago, Falun Gong practitioners in Berlin, Germany started contacting the German Ministry of Internal Affairs and police in Berlin to express our attitude towards the Chinese officials who will visit Berlin, that is, we welcome Wen Jiabao and call for bringing Jiang to justice. In the meantime, we explained to the German officials the facts about the persecution encountered by Falun Gong practitioners in China and clearly stated that over the past nearly 5 years, Falun Gong practitioners' appeals and activities in Germany have always been peaceful and in accordance with the law. They said that practitioners in Germany would like to try their best to help the German government and police to understand about Falun Gong, and will communicate with the police before and during the activities and cooperate with them.
Ms. Zheng, a Falun Gong practitioner from Berlin, said, "When Wen Jiabao visits Germany, we will hold a series of activities. We welcome him, hoping that he will learn the true situation about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners and call upon him to immediately stop this suppression of Falun Gong practitioners. We are also calling upon him to bring Jiang and his followers to justice, from the considerations of justice and China's future. Over the past five years, Falun Gong practitioners have opposed this persecution, exposed the deceiving propaganda that serves as the basis of the suppression and tried to have everyone understand the truth about Falun Gong. These also include Chinese government officials at different levels who do not support the persecution. In fact, they are also victims of this persecution. Out of his jealousy and greed for power, Jiang started this campaign of suppression. He has abused his power to manipulate the entire state machinery to execute and maintain this persecution. He appointed his followers, including Luo Gan, Zhou Yongkang, Liu Jing, Chen Zhili and Sun Jiazheng, to posts crucial to maintaining the suppression. These included the Committee of Political and Legislative Affairs, Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of State Security, Ministry of Justice, Propaganda Department, Ministry of Culture, and Ministry of Education. At present, these followers of Jiang are still at these important positions. This is one of the reasons why the persecution is still ongoing. Nevertheless, we also see that through practitioners' continuous truth-clarification, more and more people all over the world, especially people in China, have learned about the truth of Falun Gong. More and more people are brave enough to step forward to oppose the persecution. In fact, once the persecution is exposed for what it is, it will end and the perpetrators will be brought to justice in the court of morality and law."
Ms. Lilge-Stodieck, spokeswoman for the German Falun Dafa Information Center, expressed that recently, Falun Gong practitioners met and talked with German officials in charge of security for state visits. The practitioners clarified some misunderstandings caused by the lies spread by Jiang's group. Ms. Lige-Stodieck said, "Falun Gong teaches the principles of 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance" and we follow them under all circumstances. We hope that our direct contact with the German police will help them come to the right conclusion, because when they see practitioners' kindness, cooperation and considerations for others, Jiang's lies will collapse. This will help the German officials make the right decisions."
Starting from the beginning of April, Berlin practitioners have held "information days" in different cities to clarify the truth to people. Each time, banners regarding lawsuits against Jiang drew the attention of passersby.
