1. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Mao Fulian Arrested
On April 1, 2004 six local policemen broke into the home of Mao Fulian, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Xingjia Village, in Xinzhuang Town, Zhaoyuan City, and abducted her. Her whereabouts are not currently known.
2. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Practitioner Zhu Guizhi Detained
Ms. Zhu Guizhi is a Falun Dafa practitioner from Tielu Village, inYueyang City. At around 8:00 p.m. on April 5, 2004, policemen from Yueyang City's Tuqiao Police Substation arrested her. She is still being detained.

3. [Tianjin City] A Teacher from Lutai No.1 High School Is Secretly Abducted
Around April 8, 2004 agents secretly arrested Ms. Li Huizhi, a teacher from Lutai No. 1 High School, which is located at Donghuali, in the Huacui Residential District of Ninghe County, Tianjin City. One possible motive for the unlawful arrest is that she was suspected of practicing Falun Gong.
4. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Chadao Police Substation Officers Trap Falun Dafa Practitioners
In December 2003 officers from the Baolizhuang Police Substation, in Kaiping, arrested Zhang Xiaoli and Zheng Chunyou for distributing truth-clarifying materials. The two were extorted out of 5,000 Yuan (1) and 3,000 Yuan, respectively, as a contingency for their eventual release. On April 1, 2004 officers from the Chadao Police Substation in Kaiping told Zhang Xiaoli and Zheng Chunyou that they could pick up their extorted money at that police substation. Upon their arrival, however, the policemen produced prearranged legal documents that mandated sentencing them directly to Hehuakeng Forced Labor Camp in Tangshan City. Without any justification, Zhang Xiaoli was sentenced to one year, and Zheng Chunyou was sentenced to two years in the forced labor camp.
5. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Zhou Xianzhen Arrested
On March 13, 2004 forty-eight-year-old Dalian practitioner Zhou Xianzhen was arrested for distributing truth-clarifying materials. She is currently detained at the Yaojia Detention Center.
6. [Beijing City] Practitioner Qi Yingchun from the People's University of China Is Illegally Sentenced to Two Years of Forced Labor
On the morning of May 18, 2003, Qi Yingchun, a practitioner from the People's University of China, was explaining the truth of Falun Dafa to her former friend, Qu Yuan. However, Qu Yuan wrote a note requesting that another person report her to the police. Officers in police vehicle No. 110 were waiting for her at her building gate when Qi Yingchun stepped out, totally unsuspecting of such a personal betrayal. During detention, Qi Yingchun went on a hunger strike lasting over eighty days in protest. She is currently serving a two-year sentence at the Beijing Female Forced Labor Camp.
