Facts of the Persecution

-Since July 20, 1999 Jiang and his followers have openly persecuted Falun Dafa. During this time, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Liang Jieming stepped forward to clarify the truth and validate the Fa. Police arrested him multiple times, but he remains steadfast in practicing Dafa. A local court unlawfully sentenced him to six years in a forced labor camp.

-Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Jiang Chunling and her husband Ni Shengjun from Lizifang Town, Zhuanghe City, Liaoning Province were harassed and mistreated for the past four years because they refused to give up their beliefs. They went to Beijing to appeal in June 2000. They were arrested and taken to the Zhuanghe Detention Center and the Dalian Drug Rehabilitation Center. On June 10, 2002 police ransacked their home. Mr. Ni Shengjun escaped with thoughts, but no one knows where he is now. Ms. Jiang Chunling was arrested again on September 26, 2002 (on the lunar calendar) and was detained for 37 days.

-Falun Dafa practitioner Zhu Zuoxin from Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province was sentenced to a forced labor camp for one year in October 1999. He was inhumanely tortured in the Shiliping Labor Camp. He was released at the end of November 2000, but on lunar calendar date January 15, 2001 police took him away and sentenced him to another three years in a forced labor camp. Again in the Shiliping Labor Camp, he was tortured with sitting on the "control chair" (which means he was not allowed to move) for nine days, and he was handcuffed to a metal door for more than two months. His three-year term has expired, but he is still being detained.

-I am Di Weiyan. I am 54 years old, and my sicknesses were cured by practicing Falun Dafa. I was sentenced to three years in a forced labor camp because I spoke the truth about Falun Dafa. I was sent to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp in 2002, where I was tortured in numerous ways such as squatting with a washing board in between my legs; being forced to sit in the double lotus position for more than 10 hours; and being forced to bend my head to touch my knees until I almost passed out. They subjected me to sleep deprivation for 13 days in November 2003. They also poked my fingers with needles, cursed at me, tried to brainwash me, and beat me.

-Cases of persecution towards Falun Dafa practitioners in Yishui County, Shandong Province

In the fall of 2003 a female Falun Dafa practitioner in Xujiahu Town was sentenced to a forced labor camp for passing out truth-clarifying materials. In December 2003 Ms. Pan Xiai was abducted while clarifying the truth to people, and brought to the county detention center. One month later she was sentenced to 18 months of forced labor and sent to the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp. On February 15, 2004 Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhao Kegui from Beijiaping Village, Yishui Town was abducted while passing out truth-clarifying materials and brought to the county detention center, where he remains today. On March 10, 2004 Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Yang Jianguo, who was an employee of Huixian Hospital in Zhuge Town, Yishui County, was interrogated by "610 Office" (1) police and beaten up. After returning home, Mr. Yang wanted to sue these persecutors. He was abducted and brought to the Tangtou Town Mental Hospital in Linyi City. There he was injected with nerve-damaging drugs. He was recently sentenced to a forced labor camp.

-From the time of the Two Congresses until now, at least five Falun Dafa practitioners have been abducted in Xinye County, Henan Province. They are Mr. Liu Zhenpu (since released), Mr. Tao Baochao, Mr. Wang Qiankun, Mr. Zhang Xicai, and one female practitioner (name unknown). They have been tortured to different degrees.

Persecutors' Evil Deeds

-Police officer Jin Shumin (female) in Luannan County, Henan Province often ransacked Falun Dafa practitioners' homes . For instance, the home of Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Lianzhi was ransacked three times by Jin Shumin.

-Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Dianqin was abducted in 2002. Police tried to force her to watch propaganda that slanders Falun Dafa, but she refused. Police officer Ren Hongzan (female) instructed a former practitioner that turned against Dafa under persecution to poke at Ms. Liu's eyes while Liu's mouth was sealed. Ren tied up both of Liu's hands so that one hand was pulled over her shoulder and bound to the other hand, which came up behind the back. She tied up Ms. Liu's legs tightly in the double lotus position for five hours. Ms. Liu could not walk for 18 months after this torture, and she could not take care of herself during this time.
