Sentencing Falun Dafa Practitioners to Forced Labor Camps and Prisons
1. In 2000, Futian District Dafa Assistance Center volunteer assistant, Mr. Li Jianhui, and his wife Dai Ying, were sentenced to four years and three years respectively by the District People's Court. Just because Li held the title of Volunteer Assistant, this couple was accused of the crime of "organizing the disturbance of social order" before being thrown into jail.
2. Falun Dafa practitioner, Ms. Wang Renjing, and a practitioner with the surname Zhang, were sentenced to three and a half years and four years imprisonment respectively by the District People's Court because they published an appeal, from a Falun Dafa practitioner who was detained at the District Detention Center,
on the Internet .
3. In November 2000, four young and promising Falun Dafa practitioners, Mr. Zhou Lei, Mr. Liu Zhenming, Mr. Chao Hao, and Mr. Li Fulin, were sentenced to prison terms ranging from seven to fifteen years by authorities from the District "610 Office," the District Police Bureau, and the District People's Court. They were sentenced because they spread truth clarification materials from the top of a tall building near Gaojiao Center in Shenzhen City in order to break through the media blockade and let the people of Shenzhen City know the truth about the persecution.
4. After being arrested in 2000, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zheng Yuyan, was transferred to Guangdong Province Sanshui Women's Forced Labor Camp, Sanshui Forced Labor Camp, and Shenzhen City Women's Forced Labor Camp to be persecuted. She was not released until May 2003 when her term was overdue. In January 2004, she was seized by authorities from the District Police Station and the District "610 Office." It was said that the Futian District Judicial System authorities attempted to sentence her this time. The number of Futian District Falun Dafa practitioners being sent to forced labor camps for persecution is high. The exact number is not known.
Persecution through the means of cruel punishments
Futian District Forced Labor Camp is well known for its evil reputation, and it has committed numerous criminal deeds. All Falun Dafa practitioners who were detained there received inhuman treatment. The most commonly used torture methods are:
1. Harassment, and violation of practitioners' rights of freedom of speech at will;
2. Using criminals to brutally beat, curse, and humiliate practitioners;
3. Practitioners who steadfastly practiced the Falun Dafa exercises and studied the Falun Dafa teachings had their hands and feet tied up with ropes, their mouths covered with tape, or with rags from the bathroom, dirty socks, or dirty underwear;
4. Shackling steadfast Falun Dafa practitioners with handcuffs and foot shackles, putting them into the guard room for detention, depriving them of sleep for several days, and not giving them clothes to wear in wintertime;
5. Cruelly force-feeding Falun Dafa practitioners who were on hunger strike to resist the persecution
When they first started the force-feeding, police instigated male prisoners with a strong build and who were very cruel to force feed the practitioners. Five or six prisoners together would to the force-feeding on one Falun Dafa practitioner. They shoved the practitioner to the ground, then forcefully pressed him down to make sure that he could not move. Then they put a tube into the practitioner's mouth all the way down to his stomach, pinched his nose, and started force-feeding. These criminals had no medical training in performing force-feeding. The use of this dangerous method often made practitioners choke and even caused their lives to be in danger.
Later, two jail doctors started conducting force-feeding. One was male and the other was female, each about 50 years old. They often held up the nasal feeding tube, and threatened practitioners saying: "This nasal feeding tube was used before on patients with AIDS and patients with hepatitis. I don't care if you contract an infectious disease."
One time, in order to threaten a group of Falun Dafa practitioners who were on a hunger strike, the male doctor shoved the first practitioner to the ground and pressed him down. He put the nasal feeding tube into his stomach, then put the bamboo pipe into his throat. This caused this practitioner to suffer great pain, and he felt like throwing up. Then, they poured milk saturated with salt into the bamboo pipe. The practitioner couldn't breath either from his mouth or his nose. He almost choked to death. On the same day, his stomach started bleeding. According to the jail doctor, he gave the practitioner an injection to stop the bleeding; however, the practitioner still had blood in his urine, so the injection didn't work.
Humiliation:
At the end of 2000, when Jiang arrived in Shenzhen City, police in the Futian District Detention Center broke into every cell where Falun Dafa practitioners were detained. Female jail guards with the surnames Zhang, and Li and the warden forcefully took off female practitioners' clothes, leaving some wearing only one piece of underwear. They forced the practitioners to wear jail uniforms. For those practitioners who did not cooperate with them, the guards grabbed their hair and slammed their heads against the hard bed frame. Their means were very cruel. Under the instruction of some male policemen and the person in charge of the forced labor camp, the guards rushed into the cells all at once and started beating up prisoners whose appearance did not satisfy them. Two female practitioners were dragged out of the cell and punished by being forced to stand in freezing temperatures and made to stand under a spotlight.

Wang Xiang: Male, former Futian District Police Bureau Politics and Security Section Manager. He was promoted to be the manager at the City Police bureau due to receiving credits from persecuting Falun Dafa. The majority of Futian District Falun Dafa practitioners received sentences, were sentenced to forced labor camps, or detained through his efforts. Once, he said to a Falun Dafa practitioner stupidly: "Even if I reincarnated into a rock after I die (because of karmic retribution for persecuting Falun Dafa), I will still transform you."
