1. [Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province] Falun Dafa Practitioners in Binggu Town Are Persecuted
On February 2, suspecting that an elderly lady named Xiao had posted some truth-clarifying flyers, police in Panzhihua City broke into her home while she was out. They took her Falun Dafa lecture tapes and truth-clarifying materials without permission.
On the evening of February 6, Dun Dingyin, Party Secretary and head of the local "610 Office," (1) led about ten thugs in illegally searching practitioners' homes. A practitioner whose last name is Shen and another practitioner whose name is unknown were arrested. Early the next morning (on the Chinese New Year), they searched practitioners' homes again.
Ms. Li Yonghui is currently being detained at the Yangmahe Forced Labor Camp in Jianyang City. In 2000, after she was escorted back from appealing for Falun Dafa, the Binggu Town Government extorted a fine of 700 yuan (2) from her. In addition, the local Public Security Bureau extorted 200 yuan before she was released. Then Xiang Jinfa and Yang Zihua arrested her again for distributing truth-clarifying materials. She was detained at the Miyi Detention Center for one year and 1,600 yuan was extorted from her. Later, on August 31, 2001, she was sentenced to four years of forced labor and detained at the Yangmahe Forced Labor Camp. Presently her husband is recovering from a broken leg, and she is unable to look after him.
Li Yingquan (gender unknown) went to appeal on November 25, 1999. On the 28, Li was held in custody at the Beijing Office of Panzhihua City. In the evening, Li was sent back to the Miyi Railway Station, where about twenty policemen picked him up. Handcuffed, he was taken to the detention center, where he was held for seven days. After he came back to Binggu Town, Dun Dingyin and four security guards, including Wu Shirong and Ji Hui, tried to forcibly brainwash Li. Then the local government held a brainwashing class, where Li was detained for seven days and subjected to brainwashing. About thirty government officers watched over the brainwashing class in turn. Li was frequently forced to squat halfway down and run for long periods of time. Li was also deprived of sleep. When Li could not squat down any more and fell to the ground, he was kicked by the police. Wu Shibing kicked Li several times while wearing hard leather shoes.

2. [Huadian City, Jilin Province] Policeman Jin Zhexian's Crimes
Jin Zhexian, a policeman from Huadian City of Jilin Province serves as an assistant team head in the National Security Team. He hates Falun Dafa practitioners and persecutes them. He is especially involved in monitoring and arresting practitioners, as well as extorting confessions through torture.
In February 2003, Jin Zhexian followed Ms. Song Guifeng for seven days and together with two other policemen, he arrested her inside the Foreign Trade Building on February 14. She was then sentenced to two years of forced labor.
At 9:00 p.m. on March 3, 2003, Jin Zhexian and two policemen extorted a confession from practitioner Li Chunshan through brutal torture. They handcuffed Li and put two bricks between his arms, and then twisted his arms. They stuffed rags into Li's mouth to keep him from crying out in pain. Li was in so much pain that he rolled back and forth on the floor. The policemen then put a plastic bag over his head. They covered his head three times with the plastic bag until his eyeballs started to bulge, his face turned a greenish color, and he was sweating all over and could not stand any longer. They tortured him for four hours. While subjecting Li Chunshan to torture, Jin Zhexian shouted, "Today, we'll kill you and claim that you committed suicide."
3. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Police Torture Falun Dafa Practitioner Cong Guixian
Ms. Cong Guixian was subjected to torture during her illegal detention. The police employed all possible torture instruments in an attempt to force her to reveal the whereabouts of other practitioners. Besides beating and kicking, they pulled her limbs in four directions. Consequently, her hands and feet swelled up and bled heavily. Even so, they did not let her go. Instead, they punctured her fingers with bamboo needles. When she lost consciousness, they burned her feet with fire. While the torture was being carried out, they threatened her, "We'll take you to your son's school and have your son look at your horrible appearance." Cong Guixian answered calmly, "Go ahead. I will tell all the students that Falun Dafa is good." In the end, she was unlawfully sentenced to 10 years in prison.
4. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Yang Shulan Is on Hunger Strike at Shisanli Detention Center
On February 18, 2004, Ms. Yang Shulan from Qiaodong District of Zhangjiakou City was arrested while at home. Police from the Dajingmen Police Substation took her to the Shisanli Detention Center, where Yang Shulan has been on hunger strike since her arrival. She was brutally force-fed and her life is in danger. Two more female practitioners have been on hunger strike for over 30 days, as well.

5. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] A High School Student Is Illegally Detained at Chicheng Detention Center
On March 4, a report was published on Minghui.net saying that Ms. Zhang Chonghui, a student from the No.1 High School in Xuanhua District, Zhangjiakou City, was forced to quit school for practicing Falun Dafa and clarifying the truth about the persecution. After that, she went to Beijing to appeal. Currently she is being held in the Chicheng Detention Center.

On February 28, He Yuying and He Yuyan, two sisters and practitioners from Nanning City in their fifties, went to Santang by motorcycle. They were arrested while distributing truth-clarifying materials. Then they were taken to the Nanning No.2 Detention Center. In order to force them to reveal the source of truth-clarifying materials, police suspended them in the air. He Yuying was left hanging for 12 days and did not say a word. He Yuyan was left hanging for six days.
7. [Lianping County, Guangdong Province] Gong Cailan and Zhao Haiqin from Yuanshan Town Are Detained in Forced Labor Camp
Ms. Gong Cailan and Ms. Zhao Haiqin, two Falun Dafa practitioners from Yuanshan Town, were abducted while distributing truth-clarifying materials and explaining the truth to villagers in the Nanhu Administrative District. They were detained for over fifty days. Then, people from the local Public Security Bureau made up some crimes to pin on them in order to persecute them. With the fabricated charges, the police transferred them to Sanshui for two years of forced labor without informing their family members.

8. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Chen Guiying Is Arrested
Ms. Chen Guiying, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Jinzhou City, was arrested while distributing truth-clarifying materials near Anda Hospital on March 16, 2004. Currently, she is being detained at the Jinzhou No.2 Detention Center.
