(Clearwisdom.net) My younger sister's mother-in-law had a type of brain disease, where her brain bled inside. She was sent to the hospital, and the doctors suggested an operation that would cost in the range of tens of thousands of yuan [500 yuan is the average monthly salary of an urban worker in China].
I thought I should help her by telling her that "Falun Dafa is great," and "Truth, Compassion and Tolerance are great." I went to visit her the next day and she was extremely weak during most of my stay. I then went to see her on the third day. I told her, whispering in her ears that if she recited "Falun Dafa is great," and "Truth, Compassion and Tolerance are great," then her disease would be cured. When I went to see her the fifth day, her fourth son told me that his mother's blood pressure was back to normal and she could walk again. I knew that it was because she recited "Falun Dafa is great," and "Truth, Compassion and Tolerance are great," that this could happen. The doctors and nurses were all surprised because the mother-in-law used to be in great physical distress, but now she could walk by herself. Soon, she asked to go home, but the doctors wanted to observe her for a few days. She said her disease was cured now and she didn't need to stay at the hospital any more. Thus my sister's mother-in-law left the hospital.
Afterwards, my sister asked her if she had followed my suggestion to recite "Falun Dafa is great" and "Truth, Compassion and Tolerance are great." She said, "At that time I couldn't speak but was very clear in my mind: your sister's teacher [note: this refers to Falun Gong's founder, Mr. Li Hongzhi) is coming to save people, and the illnesses would be cured when reciting 'Falun Dafa is great' and 'Truth, Compassion and Tolerance are great.' I have been reciting these two phases ever since your sister told me to do so. My whole body felt very light and I could very soon get up and walk because my disease was cured."
A sister-in-law of my sister used to have problems with sleeping. Whenever she closed her eyes, skeletons would appear and frighten her too much to sleep. I lent her the book Zhuan Falun [the principal teachings of Falun Dafa] to read, and she since then, she has never experienced interference from the frightening images or from nightmares. She then started to practice Falun Dafa. I feel very happy because of all of this. These are all manifestations of Dafa's power.
