Persecution facts

On December 13, 2003, Dafa practitioners Cui Xinxiang and Zhao Xiaolu from Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province were abducted when clarifying the truth about Dafa. They were sent to the Zhangjiakou City Legal School for brainwashing and have been held there ever since. Practitioner Cui Xinxiang has been on a hunger strike for one month and is in critical condition. Practitioner Zhao Xiaolu also held a hunger strike and is now unable to eat. On December 14, 2003, police abducted Dafa practitioner Wang Lihua from Zhangjiakou City and sent her to the Wuyilu Police Station where they tortured her. Later, they sent her to the a brainwashing center, in Zhangjiakou City, known as the "Qiaodong Legal School". Wang Lihua has been on a hunger strike for one month and her life is at risk.

In 2002, Dafa practitioner Liu Jingping was illegally detained at the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City. She held a hunger strike to protest the unconstitutional detention. The perpetrators tied her to a bed and force-fed her. Once, inmate Fu Qiaoyun throttled her neck and almost suffocated her, yet the group leader said, "You can do anything to her, but you'd better not kill her."

Later, some people from the public prosecutor's office conducted a health assessment on Liu Jingping. Although her mental health was completely intact, they still sent her to a mental hospital.

Because Dafa practitioners Li Xiuzhen and Li Yuling refused to write Dafa-slandering news articles, the perpetrators shocked them with electric batons until their ears became swollen and the skin on their back blistered. These fiends used all kinds of tortures on determined Dafa practitioners and also don't allow family visits.

Persecution experience of retired teacher and Dafa practitioner Wang Aiyun:

In late 1999, perpetrators from the Yingkou City's Police Department and from the Xiongyue Police Department ransacked Ms. Wang's home and detained her for 15 days. Ms. Wang's son Sun Shicheng went to Beijing to appeal in November 2000 and was detained for 15 days. Later they sent him unlawfully to a labor camp and held him there for two years.

On December 7, 2003, perpetrators from the Xiongyue Police Department again abducted Sun Shicheng and they sent him to the Yingkou City Brainwashing Class. Ms. Wang's son-in-law was also detained for appealing in Beijing and later sentenced to three years of forced labor.

In August 2003, four police officers from Bayuquan abducted Ms. Wang from home and sent her to a detention center. Ms. Wang could not eat and fainted twice during the detention period. Ten days later she was sent to the notorious Masanjia Forced Labor Camp in Shenyang City for one year of forced labor. Ms. Wang suffered two months of mistreatment at the labor camp and showed symptoms of a large brain hemorrhage. She is semi-paralyzed and is now receiving treatment at home.

Persecution facts at the Jiamusi City Labor Camp:

Dafa practitioner Ms. Xu Hongzhen, 66 years old, was forced to sit on a narrow stool and watch Dafa-slandering videos from 5:30 a.m. until 11:30 p.m. She was then cuffed to a metal bed for one week, followed by having her hands cuffed on her back. Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhu Xiuzhi, 69 years old, was forced to do daily aerobic exercises on the ground. The guards and inmates often verbally abused her. The perpetrators cuffed her hands behind her back, too. Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Linge, 68 years old, was forced to pick 15 kilos of peas everyday. The perpetrators also beat her and cuffed her hands behind her back.

In March 2000, Dafa practitioner Ms. Ye Wenrong from Sichuan Province went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa and was arrested at Tiananmen Square. The perpetrators shocked her with electric batons and struck her breasts and other sensitive body parts with metal rods. They tortured her with the "Carrying a Sword in the Back" [The practitioner's hands are tied behind his back with one hand over the shoulder and the other hand against the lower back. The police then apply a great deal of force to pull the two hands toward one another and handcuff the two hands together]. Eventually, officers from the Xiwai Police Station in Guanghan City picked her up and held her for another 15 days, in addition to extorting a 500 Yuan fine. In 2001, Dafa practitioner Ms. Ye Wenrong again went to Beijing to appeal and was arrested once more. She was held in Beijing for 15 days where she held a hunger strike and was force-fed. Fifteen days later she was sent back to the Gaopian Police Station where she was tortured for 56 days. The police shocked her genital area with electric batons and forced her to stand for seven days and seven nights. In addition, they beat and kicked her. After she returned home, the evildoers ransacked her home and "fined" her another 300 Yuan.

In May 2002, a collaborator reported Dafa practitioner Ms. Chen Yulian from Leizhou City, Guangdong Province [collaborator: former Falun Gong practitioners who have gone astray after torture and brainwashing and now aid the police in their persecution of fellow practitioners] when she was distributing truth clarification VCD. Her name was on Suixi County's Police Department and "610 Office"* blacklist. She was often harassed and was forced to leave home. Her husband was also persecuted and was forced to retire in January 2003. He cannot return home either and is currently living with his eldest daughter. In order to help her family and friends learn the truth about Falun Gong, Ms. Chen Yulian returned to her hometown during the Chinese New Year festival time. On January 23, 2004, police from the Kelu Town Police Station in Leizhou City broke in on the family gathering and arrested Chen Yulian. They sent her to the No. 2 Detention Center in Suixi County.

Practitioners exchange insights:

In a few words: My understandings of Master's new scripture "Stop the Evil Acts with Righteous Thoughts." Many practitioners who are being held in labor camps and prisons cannot quickly obtain this scripture and are still enduring passively. I suggest that free Dafa practitioners rescue these practitioners and clarify the truth. We ought to send the powerful righteous thoughts on the top of the hour, at all hours, that all of the pain and suffering afflicted on Dafa practitioners during this persecution be transformed to the bodies of the perpetrators. Concurrently, we should try to deliver this scripture to these practitioners as soon as possible, to help them understand Fa principles and together stop the evil.

People's heart and retribution:

Several days after a female Dafa practitioner escaped from a Mainland China detention center with righteous thoughts, perpetrators from a local "610 Office" broke into her home and snatched one of Master's pictures. The non-practitioner husband of the Dafa practitioner shouted, "Don't touch it! Put it back! I didn't do anything to you! If you take that picture, then don't ever think about stepping out of my door. I'm not afraid to die!" The perpetrators were shocked and put the picture back. They quietly left.

*The "610 Office" is an agency specifically established to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.
