Clarifying the truth and introducing Falun Gong with music at the CKS Memorial Hall
February 14 was a sunny day. Carrying guitars, electric keyboards and a pure heart, several Falun Gong practitioners went to the Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall (CKS) Memorial Hall to perform songs composed by practitioners and clarify the facts.
It was a Saturday and, as usual, numerous tourists including some from Mainland visited the memorial.
The blue banner with the words, "Falun Dafa is great" imprinted in yellow as well as the performers' clear and resonant songs attracted many people. One after another, tourists took out their cameras and took a snapshot of the special scene.
A group of tourists from Mainland watched from a distance for quite a while. A practitioner went up to explain the facts to that group of people. In the end, a tourist from that group said, "Falun Dafa is great!"
Clarifying the facts at National Palace Museum
It was 3 p.m. when we arrived at the National Palace Museum. Seven or eight practitioners who constantly go there to clarify the facts were already there, practicing the exercises, handing out flyers and chatting with tourists. We set-up our equipment and started singing.
Again and again, we sang the songs composed by fellow practitioners, including "De Du", "Clear Thinking", "Return Home", "Sit by My Side", "The Road Home", and "Falun Dafa is Great." When there were more tourists from Mainland or Hong Kong, we sang "Coming for you." When children passed by, we sang songs written for children called "Story of the Stars" and "Muddy People."
Some tourists leaned on the railings nearby and quietly listened to our songs. After they listened for a while, some tourists also sang the songs. Some tourists looked with fixed attention at practitioners' sincere faces, the display boards imprinted with words "Falun Dafa is Great" and "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance", and carefully read the materials practitioners gave to them.
A tour bus driver said, "You sing so beautifully! Please sing more songs." Some tourists were so touched by the songs that they asked practitioners who distributed flyers if they had any CDs of the music.
We had sung for more than 5 hours, but we did not feel tired at all. Instead, we felt regret about starting so late to use music to clarify the facts at tourist attractions. The songs that we sang expressed our heartfelt wishes. We hope people will see the beauty of Dafa and learn about the persecution occurring in China. We hope that people will no longer be deceived by the Jiang regime's lies and will not miss this opportunity of a lifetime.
People with predestined relationships are waiting!
