Six-year-old Callie Fong and Patrice Luong practice falun gong meditation in the state Capitol rotunda in Salt Lake City on Wednesday. The public was invited to join in learning five meditation exercises involved in falun gong and also about persecution in China of the spiritual practice. Participants in the spiritual movement believe that the essence of the universe is truth, compassion and tolerance. The belief is practiced in more than 50 countries around the world.
