1. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Detained at the Chongzhou Police Station, Falun Gong Practitioner Huang Ying Is in Critical Danger
Ms. Huang Ying, in her 30s, is from Jinjidaoban in Chongzhou City. During the Spring Festival of 2002, Chongzhou City 610 Office personnel arrested and sent her to the Xinjin Brainwashing Center for torture. Ms. Huang didn't give in and resisted the persecution with righteous thoughts; however, her life is currently in danger. Chongzhou City's 610 Office notified her aged father to pay 500 yuan in order to take her home. When her father went there with the borrowed 500 yuan, the people in the police station affiliated with the Chongzhou City Police Department would not accept the money, nor would they release Huang Ying.
2. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Gao Shijun Sentenced to Three Years of Forced Labor
On August 28, 2004, police from the Jiefang Police Station in Anshan City abducted practitioner Mr. Gao Shijun from his home. They have also confiscated his Falun Gong books, truth-clarifying VCDs, a computer, camcorder and other personal belongings. He was initially being held at Anshan City's No.1 Detention Center. On September 28, he was transferred to a division of the city's forced labor camp and was sentenced to three years of forced labor. Since then, his family has not been granted any visits and his situation remains unknown.
3. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Arrest of Practitioner Guan Jinghua for Clarifying the Facts of Falun Gong
Ms. Guan Jinghua has been arrested many times because she upheld her belief in Falun Gong. In October 2004, police broke into her place and attempted to take her away again. With the righteous voices of her relatives, who stood up her, this abduction attempt ended in vain. Nevertheless, at 10:00 a.m. on November 5, Ms. Guan was arrested on her way to a drugstore to buy medicine for her chickens. The police took her to the Xinxing Police Station and Chief Yang Xu and Duan Yingwei detained her. Her family could not find her anywhere that day. They found her the second day when they went to the police station. Guan Jinghua was locked in a small, dark room. Her family wanted to see her, but the police denied their request. Her family members questioned the police, "Why did you detain Guan Jinghua?" The reply was, "Guan Jinghua told people about Falun Dafa."
4. [Baise City, Guangxi Autonomous Region] Sentencing of Practitioners Jiang Caiying and Huang Haibin for Suing the 610 Office
Practitioners Ms. Jiang Caiying and Mr. Huang Haibin from Tianlin, Baise City, Guangxi Autonomous Region have been detained for several months for practicing Falun Gong. After their release they sued the 610 Office as well as the Political and Judiciary Committee. The court accepted their case and the processing fee, but personnel from the Tianlin Police Department arrested them soon after. Later, Ms. Jiang was sentenced to two years of forced labor, and Mr. Huang was sentenced to three years.
5. [Zhangqiu City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Zhai Shanyong Frequently Subjected to Extortion
Mr. Zhai Shanyong from the Beita Village, Zaoyuan Town, Zhangqiu City practices Falun Gong. On October 19, 2004, officers from the local police precinct arrested him again. The police had broken into Mr. Zhai's house many times in the past to harass him. They also tapped his home phone and climbed onto the roof of his house to monitor him at night. They even went to his work place to demand money from his salary. The president of the factory had no choice but give the police 110 yuan. The village Party secretary Liu Zhongyong forced Mr. Zhai's family to pay 6,000 yuan, otherwise, he claimed, Zhai Shanyong would be sentenced to at least two to three years of forced labor. Now, Mr. Zhai's family cannot live a normal life. His son Zhai Chengbao suffered much pressure from his school and teachers. He could no longer continue his normal studies and had to stay at home.

6. [Pingjiang County, Hunan Province] Arrest of Zhong Cailian for Clarifying the Truth to Students
Practitioner Ms. Zhong Cailian is a teacher at the Donggao Elementary School in Meixian Town, Pingjiang County, Hunan Province, where teachers and students greatly respect her. Because she handed out Falun Dafa truth-clarification information to students, the Meixian Town officials and the National Security Team arrested her the afternoon of December 3 and sent her to the Pingjiang County Detention Center.

7. [Kunming City, Yunnan Province] Arrest of Four Practitioners, Including He Qiqiong
610 Office and Kunming City Police Department personnel wanted to resolve a certain case. They moved into the Kunming Steel Company Hotel in the middle of September 2004 to put an end to the case of practitioners hanging up Falun Dafa banners at Yunnan Province's No. 3 Detention Center, Haikou Cross and other places on May 13 and July 20 of 2004. They colluded with personnel from the company's 610 Office and from the security section as well as the Luobai Police Precinct. They followed practitioners and tapped their telephones.
At around 11:00 a.m. on October 23, 2004, several people tricked Ms. He Qiqiong, an over 50-year-old retired company worker, into opening the door of her home "for the purpose of checking the household registration." They ransacked her home and then arrested her. After a period of time, her family eventually found out that she was being held in Kunming City's Drug Rehabilitation Center. The authorities also arrested Ms. Yuan Shiying, Ms. Li Youtao and another practitioner with the surname Li that same day.
8. [Anning City, Yunnan Province] Education Committee Demands Students and Parents to Sign Flyers Slandering Falun Gong
On October 19, 2004, Education Committee authorities in Anning City, Yunnan Province passed out a flyer that slandered Falun Gong to parents and students in both elementary and high schools. Officials in the company's No.1 High School even demanded parents to sign the flyer and ordered students to write their understanding of it.
9. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Arrest of Ma Lin for Clarifying the Truth of Falun Gong
In early November, Ma Lin, an employee of Chengdu City's No.7 Hospital, took a family vacation in Pi County. Because Ma Lin clarified the truth of Falun Gong to the local people, personnel from the Pi County Police Department in Chengdu City arrested Ma Lin. Now Ma Lin is being held in the county's detention center.
10. [Chongzhou City, Sichuan Province] Police Torture Luo Junfang to Death
Personnel from the Chongzhou Police Precinct brutally torture practitioners, including Ms. Liu Zhifang, who is 63 years old. Ms. Liu was tortured so severely she became unconscious.
Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Luo Junfang was tortured to death.
Now Ms. Huang Ying, Ms. Du Yuqing and Ms. Xiao have been sent to the Xinjin Brainwashing Class for brutal torture. No family visits are allowed. Practitioners detained there are in acute danger. The brainwashing class officials have now agreed to release those practitioners, but the local police precinct personnel have not yet arrived to pick them up.

11. [Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province] Sentencing of Gao Chaoqiong to Five Years in Prison
Practitioner Ms. Gao Chaoqiong from Panzhihua City lives at the residential compound of the city's Agricultural Bank. She was arrested in May 2004. At present she is being held in Yanbian County's Detention Center and has been sentenced to five years in prison. Ms. Gao is appealing the sentence.
12. [Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province] Sentencing of Zeng Yuxian to Three Years in Xinhua Forced Labor Camp, Which Leads to a Family Break-Up
Practitioner Mr. Zeng Yuxian was the former head of the Financial Section for Cangxi County's Business Administration Bureau, Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province. Because of his Falun Gong practice, police ransacked his home, fined him a great deal of money and sentenced him to three years in a labor camp, which led to the break up of his family. His wife and child left him. Zeng Yuxian is still being held in the Xinhua Forced Labor Camp in Mianyang City.
13. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Persecution Accounts of Zhang Xiuling and Others in the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp
Since July 2004, practitioner Ms. Zhang Xiuling has been held in the No. 4 Division of the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City. In order to resist the unlawful incarceration, she has been on a hunger strike for over ten days. She was imprisoned in a solitary cell. Zhang Xiuling has been severely tortured, mentally and physically. Her 80-year-old mother went to visit her many times but was refused to see her. Her mother worries so much about her daughter suffering tortures and often cries.
Since July 2004, practitioner Mr. Li Yongjun has been held in the No. 4 Division of the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp. Because he refused to renounce his belief, his over eighty- year-old mother came to visit him several times, but hasn't received permission to see him.
Since July 2004, practitioner Ms. Jin Min has been held in the No. 4 Division of the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp. Because of her determined belief she is separated from others and subjected to surveillance.
14. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] 610 Office Abducts Tang Shuhui and Takes Her to the Chenjiaji Brainwashing Class
At 10:00 a.m. on November 30, 2004, personnel from Wuhan City's 610 Office colluded with more than ten persons from the security section of the Wuhan City Jiang'an Vehicle Factory. They rushed into the Dentistry Outpatient Department on the third floor of the factory's hospital to arrest practitioner Ms. Tang Shuhui. They took Ms. Tang Shuhui away from work. Ms. Tang's arm was cut and was bleeding when she resisted the abduction. They didn't let Ms. Tang have her wound sutured in that hospital, but manhandled her and sent her to the Chenjiaji Brainwashing Class in the Jiang'an District. They also arrested Dr. Zhang Changming of the surgery department at the hospital.
So far, five practitioners from that factory have been abducted from their workplaces and taken to the Chenjiaji Brainwashing Class. After several doctors in the surgery department were abducted and taken to the brainwashing class, there was no doctor in the department available to treat patients, which caused strong public complaints.

15. [Fucheng County, Hebei Province] Savage Tortures of Liu Jianxin in Hengshui City's Brainwashing Class
In 2002, Liu Guoqing from the 610 Office in Fucheng County, Hebei Province abducted practitioner Ms. Liu Jianxin and took her to Hengshui City's Brainwashing Class in Hebei Province. Liu Jianxin went on a hunger strike to protest. She was force-fed on the third day and seventh day of her hunger strike. The force-feeding tube was roughly inserted every day during the 26 days of the hunger strike. The insertion was extremely painful. Afterwards, Jianxin vomited and had diarrhea. The tube turned black from blood stains. The doctor performing the force-feeding said, "Let's simply force-feed her to death!" Personnel from the 610 Office said, "Her brother just died (practitioner Liu Qiusheng was tortured to death). We had better not!"
Zheng Genqi of the Hengshui Brainwashing Class ordered someone to prop up the bed in order to prevent practitioner Liu Jinaxin from sleeping. Zheng also dragged her to isolated places to beat her. Wang Changxin and Zheng Genqi from the brainwashing class also beat her with a bamboo stick and punched her face. They beat her five or six times. The 610 Office also ordered the doctor to brutally insert the feeding tube, moving it back and forth to torture her during force-feeding.
16. [Jing County, Hebei Province] Tortures Suffered by Wang Xiuming in 2001
In 2001, Wang Chengyu, from Liuji Township, Jing County, Hebei Province, and Zhang Hongtao from a detention center, sent Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Xiuming to Hengshui City's brainwashing class. The brainwashing class employees put a photo of the founder and Teacher of Falun Gong on the ground and tried to force Ms. Wang to kneel on it. She refused. Police officer Wang Changxin grabbed her arms and Zheng Genqi struck at her hips with a 2-meter-long wooden shovel handle. Wang Xiuming's buttocks quickly became black and blue and she could not sit down. The second time, Wang Changxin beat her back. After Wang Xiuming was sent back, Zhang Jianshun still beat her, and Wang Chengyu brutally slapped her face.
17. [Hengshui City, Hebei Province] Arrest of Zhao Jindong, a Lecturer from Hengshui College
Mr. Zhao Jingdong is a lecturer in English for the Foreign Language Department at Hengshui College. At about 9:00 p.m. on November 29, 2004, personnel from the Hengshui City Police Department arrested him. At 8:00 p.m., seven or eight police officers broke into Zhao Jindong's house and asked the couple, "Who knows how to operate the computer?" The police ransacked the house. Mr. Zhao's son, a secondary school student, said, "This is an illegal search." The police intended to beat the child, which frightened Mr. Zhao's mother-in-law so severely that she fainted.
Recently, the police in Hengshui City have already arrested three Falun Gong practitioners with the purpose of finding out who has connections to Clearwisdom.net.
18. [Jing County, Hebei Province] Arrest of Zhao Xiulan and Zhu Yuying
During the afternoon of November 17, 2004, when practitioners Ms. Zhao Xiulan and Ms. Zhu Yuying were clarifying the truth of Falun Gong to local people, Lianzhen Township Police Precinct's chief in Jing County and his accomplices saw them. They got into a car, chased the two practitioners and arrested them. They called the county's 610 Office and personnel in the Political and Security section of the police department, and then sent the practitioners to a detention center.
Police officers Li and Liu climbed over a wall and broke into the two practitioners' houses in Xiaozhangzhuang, Liangji Township, Jing County. They took away all Falun Gong books and materials. It was reported by insiders in the public prosecutor's office that it was highly possible that the two practitioners would be sent to a forced labor camp.
19. [Xingyang City, Henan Province] Repeat Arrest of Xu Xiaoguo
After three rounds of brutal tortures, Mr. Xu Xiaoguo became extremely weak and had symptoms of Hepatitis B. The symptoms were very severe. With no choice, the Baimiao Forced Labor Camp allowed Mr. Xu to be released on bail for treatment.
Three months later, forced labor camp guards went to Mr. Xu's home to harass him. They demanded to see the hospital diagnosis certificate. His father already knew that his son had been shocked with electric batons and also force-fed with a highly concentrated saline solution, which put his life in peril. The aged father was very angry at the arrival of the police. He and his son exposed the atrocities to villagers and explained how Falun Dafa teaches people to be good.
The guards had no choice but leave. They then colluded with police from the Chengguan Township Police Precinct in Xingyang City to entrap Xu Xiaoguo. On November 26, 2004, personnel from the Chengguan Township Police Precinct deceived Xu Xiaoguo and his family. Xu Xiaoguo left home again and he has not come back.
20. [Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province] Chi Haimin Tortured to the Point of Mental Breakdown
In July 1999, Mr. Chi Haimin, a reporter for the Ningbo Evening, went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong, but local police took him to a mental hospital for persecution, Ningbo City's Kangning Hospital. After he was released, associate Party secretary Zhang Songmao, in charge of human resources at the Ningbao Evening, demoted him to the distribution department from his post of headline news reporter.
In January 2001, Chi Haimin went to Beijing to appeal for the second time, but was sent to a forced labor camp for two and a half years. Chi Haimin's family did their best to help him get out of the camp. He was released eight months later. Zhang Songmao, the deputy Party secretary, requested the police department to send Chi Haimin to the Kangning Hospital again. After nine months of torture in the hospital, Chi Haimin was mentally traumatized.
In 2003, Zhang Songmao canceled Chi Haimin's qualification to be a news reporter.
In 2004, Chi Haimin's salary was reduced by 5,000 yuan every month. Several days ago, Zhang Songmao urged the Party committee to dismiss their labor contract with Chi Haimin.

21. [Dujun City, Guizhou Province] Ran Suhua Escapes from Brainwashing Class but Becomes Homeless
Ms. Ran Suhua is from Dujun City, Guizhou Province. At 1:00 p.m. on October 30, 2004, she was taken from her home to the Pujinqiao Legal System Training Class in Dujun City, a brainwashing class. At 12:00 a.m. on November 1, Lan Suhua climbed over the wall and escaped from the brainwashing class. Now she has to lead a homeless life to avoid further persecution.
