(Clearwisdom.net) On Nov. 11, 2004, Falun Gong practitioners held an Anti-Torture Exhibit at the University of Texas in Austin to expose the torture methods used in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in Chinese jails and forced labor camps. The exhibit has greatly shaken UT students and faculty. They were anxious to find out about the persecution in China. More than one thousand copies of truth-clarification readers were taken within two hours. The Daily Texan and another student newspaper interviewed Falun Gong practitioners and took photos. The student newspaper published a detailed report on the brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China.

Many students read the display boards carefully and asked what they could do to help stop the brutal persecution in China. A student said he would try to pass a bill to help stop the persecution if he was a city councilor. Many students said they couldn't believe such brutality was still happening in China. A young couple watched the demonstration of torture methods solemnly. When a Falun Gong practitioner gave them newsletters, they thanked the practitioners for the information. Some students wanted to learn Falun Gong, and they were happy to learn that there was a group exercise site on campus.
