Practitioners Invited to Introduce Falun Dafa to New York City School Teachers on Professional Development Day

(Clearwisdom.net) On November 2, 2004, New York City schools were closed because of election day. The New York City Board of Education used the day to offer "professional development" seminars to teachers. The Director of Fitness and Physical Education of Region 10 (the Upper West Side of Manhattan) wanted to offer some exercises that would help everybody relax on election day. The director also hoped that after experiencing Falun Dafa for themselves, that some teachers would invite practitioners back to their own schools to teach the Falun Dafa exercises to students there.

The Director organizing the seminar had become familiar with Falun Gong from practitioners' street activities in Manhattan and as a result, decided to invite practitioners to teach the exercises to a group of teachers.

The class was very successful. Over 20 teachers attended, and four practitioners taught them all five exercises. The response from the group was very good. The energy field was very strong and everybody was smiling and happy after the exercises. Several teachers asked us if we could come to their school in the future to teach their students.< Other teachers wanted to continue practicing for themselves.

Our understanding is that due to the large-scale truth-clarifying efforts here in Manhattan, the evil force arrangements are being cleared away. As a result, more and more New Yorkers are calling us to learn the exercises and introduce Falun Dafa to their organizations.
