Among the numerous parade processions composed by servicemen, Falun Gong practitioners' procession looked bright and colorful and gave people a very positive impression. The parade organizer was very happy that Falun Gong practitioners took part in this Veterans Day Parade.

This year marked the 86 anniversary of the "Veterans Day". The parade consisted of more than 100 entries and set off at 1:00 pm from Second Street and marched to the City Hall. The parade is to express appreciation to all American veterans who participated in the previous wars.
Ms. Liu from San Francisco who joined the parade said that people attending the parade were all warm-hearted. She said that the U.S. is a country where people enjoy freedom of belief. Falun Gong practitioners are able to freely participate in parades and other activities on the soil of the U.S. Unfortunately, situation is different in China. Ms. Liu would like to express her thankfulness to the American people and government for their support for Falun Gong practitioners' freedom of belief.
When the procession passed by the main podium, master of ceremony said to the spectators, "Here comes the group of Falun Dafa. The principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance also apply to us!" Parade organizer Rene Champagne told this reporter, "Today's parade was very successful! The Falun Gong entry was magnificent and very beautiful." He said that he is very happy that Falun Dafa practitioners could participate in this parade.
After hearing about the persecution encountered by Falun Gong practitioners in China, Mr. Ayob said that the Chinese government should ensure people's freedom of belief. He believed that everyone should enjoy the freedoms of belief and expression. He said that Falun Gong practitioners follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance and he was very happy to see practitioners' procession. He hoped that practitioners would eventually obtain their rights to believe and he wished practitioners good luck.
Ms. Liu commented that in today's world where there are constant conflicts among countries and terrorism runs amuck, people really need Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance. She hoped that one day in China, people would also enjoy the right to believe in Falun Gong and she believed that this day would come soon.
