Our Group Activity of Telephoning Practitioners in Beijing

(Clearwisdom.net) In the recent article "Let Go of Human Attachments and Save the World's People," Teacher says,

"From now on, the Dafa disciples in China as much as anyone, both new students and veterans alike, should let go of their long-standing human attachments and start to seize the day and comprehensively save the world's people. ...Dafa disciples, don't forsake the magnificent responsibility that has been bestowed upon you in Fa-rectification, and even less should you disappoint those beings, as you are now their only hope for entering the future. For this reason, all Dafa disciples, students both new and veteran, should get to work and begin comprehensively clarifying the truth. This is especially so for the Dafa disciples in Mainland China: each must come out and clarify the truth, bringing it to every field and valley, mountain and hill, not omitting a single area where there are people. ..."

When we meet fellow practitioners through our phone calls to China, we can tell them that this new article is very important and that Beijing and Manhattan, New York, are the two main places where the evil forces have gathered together. It is especially important to share our understandings with practitioners in Beijing when we make phones calls to Beijing.

One holiday afternoon, we made phone calls as a group. Practitioners whose righteous thoughts were stable could reach a state of absolute compassion not limited by time or space and could impart their compassion and righteous thoughts to those we called. Only compassion can encompass everything. Other practitioners cooperated by sending forth righteous thoughts. The whole field was full of energy. After we showed our concern for the person we called, it often turned out that he or she either was a Falun Gong practitioner or was close to Falun Gong practitioners. We therefore quickly connected with several fellow practitioners.

The following are some stories related to our phone calls to Beijing:

After one person finished listening to the truth, he said excitedly that he had a neighbor who practices Falun Gong and that he would be happy to pass on the information to him.

Another young man said that he had just returned home after being detained for two years for holding a banner in Changchun. Then the person who called began to describe the progress of Fa-rectification and also read Master's new article, "Let Go of Human Attachments and Save the World's People" to him. The practitioner in China began to cry after listening to Master's article. Another Taiwanese practitioner took over the phone and continued to talk to him, encouraging him and telling him that we knew what they have suffered for their determination to cultivate Falun Dafa in that environment over these past five years. What they have done not only makes us admire them but also encourages us to help more Dafa practitioners in China to step forward to clarify the truth.

A young lady mentioned that her sister had just been released from illegal detention in a forced labor camp. The doctor made a diagnosis of ovarian cancer that her sister developed as a result of the long period of persecution and the lack of studying the Fa and practicing the exercises. She is now being treated with chemotherapy. This is a special case. We've already asked practitioners who are medical professionals to continue to communicate with her about her sister.

We called two practitioners simultaneously and read Master's new articles to them. They appreciated this and told us that they were touched and encouraged. We encouraged them repeatedly to remember to step forward and to save the world's people. We also asked them to pass on this message to other fellow practitioners.

One woman hung up the phone out of fear as soon as she heard that the call was from Taiwan and that Falun Gong was mentioned. We called again and this time a gentleman answered. After he heard from us that anti-torture exhibitions are being held in many countries, that many people in Western countries know Falun Gong is being persecuted in China, and that many people support Falun Gong, he told us with joy that he is also a Falun Gong practitioner. He gave us his phone number and asked us to call him again to share with him when we have time. He thanked the practitioners in Taiwan for their concern.

When another gentleman answered our call, I intuitively felt that he was also a practitioner. He listened to the truth quietly. When I asked whether he had neighbors or family members who practice Falun Gong, he answered that he himself is a Falun Gong practitioner, but he said that it wasn't convenient for him to talk in the factory. So he asked me to keep talking and he would just listen. I mentioned to him that the response to the anti-torture exhibitions in Manhattan was very positive and made it possible for Westerners to know that Falun Gong is being persecuted in China. I told him that I was also going to New York to clarify the truth. He wished us success before we said goodbye to each other.
