[Chaoyang District, Beijing] Ms. Wang Huipu Dies as a Result of Mental and Physical Torture

Ms. Wang Huipu, age 62, lived in Xibahezhongli, Chaoyang District, Beijing. Since 1999, she has been arrested three times and was sent to a brainwashing class and detention center for persecution. However, she has remained steadfast all along in her belief in Falun Dafa. She was put under "strict monitoring" for a long period of time, and was frequently harassed. As a result of mental and physical torture, Ms. Wang Huipu passed away on November 9, 2003.

[Gongzhuling City, Jilin Province] Banners with the Words "Bring Jiang to Justice" Appear All Over Gongzhuling and Fanjiatun

On the night of December 18, more than 100 banners with the words, "Bring Jiang Zemin to Justice Around the World" appeared all over Gongzhuling and Fanjiatun in Jilin Province. The practitioners also exposed the evil through high-volume speakers, which shocked the local villains who persecuted Falun Dafa. On the night of December 19, four Dafa practitioners were arrested at home by police from the Fanjiatun Police Department.

Afterwards, police in Gongzhuling and Fanjiatun organized all the local policemen and hired additional personnel to take part in the persecution. They waited in ambush, and followed and arrested Dafa practitioners. At night, those passersby who looked like Dafa practitioners had their bags and persons randomly searched and their ID's checked. No laws were followed at all in these procedures.

[Xingan County, Guangxi Province] Mr. Huang Haiping Is Unjustly Sentenced to Six Years in Prison

Mr. Huang Haiping, who is about 27 years old, was a resident of Xingan County, Giangxi Province, and graduated from the Guangxi Finance and Trade School in 1997. Because he refused to give up his belief in "Truthfulness-Compassion¨CForbearance," he was arrested by the police in Xingan County and was unjustly sent to a forced labor camp. In the second half of 2001, while in detention, Huang Haiping went on a hunger strike to protest. He was brutally beaten by the police, but he still remained determined in his belief. After more than ten days of being on the hunger strike, his life was in danger. The authorities from the prison asked Mr. Huang's family members to take him back home, under the pretext of releasing him on bail for medical treatment. Huang Haiping left home to avoid being wrongfully arrested again. He validated Dafa and clarified the truth together with other fellow practitioners. Xingan County officials put him on the most wanted list and frequently went to his home to harass and detain his family members. On March 13, 2002, Huang Haiping was arrested on the street in Xingan County by two policemen from the county police department. He was unjustly sentenced to six years in prison. Huang Haiping is now being held in Team No. 11 in the Liuzhou Prison in Lutang Town, Liujiang County.

[Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Hanyang District Court Unjustly Sentences Min Changchun and Xie Yonggang to Prison

Several months ago, Hanyang District Court in Wuhan City, Hubei Province unjustly sentenced Dafa practitioners Min Changchun and Xie Yonggang to prison. Mr. Min Changchun, a Dafa practitioner from Zhongxiang, was unjustly sentenced to four years in prison. Xie Yonggang, a Dafa practitioner in Huangshi, was illegally sentenced to five years in prison. These two Dafa practitioners were arrested in 2002. They were illegally detained for over one year before they were sentenced. Currently, they are being held in the forced labor camp.

[Sichuan Province] Ms. Fan Ying Is Unjustly Sentenced to Five Years in Prison; Ms. Deng Chunrong Sentenced

Ms. Fan Ying is a worker in the Sichuang Gear Factory. In 2000, she went to Beijing to appeal and was arrested. She escaped from the Shuangliu Detention Center. However, her husband reported her to the police, and received a bonus of 2,000 yuan [500 yuan is the average monthly income for an urban Chinese worker]. Fan Ying was then arrested and sent to the Shuangliu Detention Center, where she was shackled and handcuffed, with her neck and hands locked together for as long as over two months. Because she went on a hunger strike to protest, she was brutally force-fed. Fan Ying was unjustly sentenced to five years in forced labor camp, and was sent to the Longquan Female Prison on November 20.

Ms. Deng Chunrong from Shuangliu was unjustly sentenced and sent to the Longquan Female Prison.

[Chaoyang District, Beijing] Mr. Tan Shouli Is Unjustly Sentenced to 10 Years in Prison; Ms. Xu Jing Sentenced to Five Years

Mr. Tan Shouli, age 46, lived in Xinyuanxili in Chaoyang District, Beijing. In October 2000, he went to appeal for Falun Dafa, and was then held in Qincheng Jail. He went on a hunger strike to protest for a long period of time, and was brutally tortured. Mr. Tan was then sentenced to 10 years in prison. Ms. Xu Jing, who is over 40 years old, went to appeal with Tan Shouli, and was unjustly sentenced to five years in prison.

[Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province] Four Falun Dafa Practitioners Are Unjustly Sentenced to Forced Labor

Ms. Sun Guoxiu, approximately 51 years old, is a Dafa practitioner in Beishahe, Houcheng Township, Taigu County.

Ms. Wang Lianyun, approximately 38 years old, lived in Beifujing Village, Beiguang Township, Taigu County (Phone number of the village committee: 86-354-6130107).

In the first half of 2003, six Dafa practitioners in Taigu County, Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province, including the above four practitioners, went to Road 108 in Qi County to hang banners and post truth-clarifying stickers. They were arrested by police from the Qi County Police Department and transferred to the Taigu County Police Department Detention Center. After they went on a hunger strike to protest for several days, they were released. On November 1, 2003, police from Taigu County unexpectedly arrested the above four practitioners at their homes. They were sent to the Shangxi Provincial Female Forced Labor Camp, where they were sentenced to two years.

[Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Wuhou District's Brainwashing Class in Chengdu City Is Exposed

The Wuhou District in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province held a so-called "Law Training Class," which was actually a brainwashing class in Jinhua Township, located in Jiujiang Town in Shuangliu, next to Wenjiang (separated by a bridge). 1. On the afternoon of December 19, 2003, Dafa practitioner Zhang Qi from Chaoyang, Liaoning Province was arrested at home by a police chief by the name Wu Baoliang, and the head of the Changzai Township Police Station, Zhao Xiaofeng. Wu was specifically assigned to persecute Falun Gong in the Chaoyang County Police Department,. He was held in the Chaoyang County Detention Center. Several days later, he was sent to the Xidayingzi Forced Labor Camp for further persecution. According to reliable sources, Zhang Qi had been shouting, "Falun Dafa is Good" in the forced labor camp.

2. Ms. Lin Guizhi, from Chaoyang, Liaoning Province, is over 40 years old. On November 18, 2003, police from the Balipu Police Station arrested her at her temporary workplace, and she was unjustly held in the Wujiawa Detention Center. Ms. Lin's family members were not allowed to visit her. There were two other Dafa practitioners, Cheng Ling and Wu Rongjie, being held with her. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Wang Jinmin Has Been Persecuted Repeatedly Because He Persists in His Belief

In October 2000, Dafa practitioner Wang Jinmin of Shenyang, Liaoning Province was unjustly sentenced to three years in a forced labor camp because he went to Beijing to appeal. He was brutally beaten, deprived of sleep, and forced to go through brainwashing in the Zhangshi Forced Labor Camp in Shenyang. None of this torture was able to shake his righteous belief in Dafa. At the end of May 2002, his term was extended again because he refused to wear the labor camp uniform. Mr. Wang was then sent to the Guanshan Forced Labor Camp in Liaoning Province for further persecution. On December 24, 2003, his term expired. Officials from the Politics and Law Committee in Shenyang City, together with the Weigong Street Administration Office, secretly sent Wang Jinmin to the brainwashing class in the Zhangshi Forced Labor Camp.

[Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Sun Wenxiang Is Unjustly Sent to a Forced Labor Camp

Ms. Sun Wenxiang lived in Compound 440 in Baiyun Street, Zhongshan District, Dalian City. On the morning of December 25, 2003 between 6:10 to 6:30, she was arrested at her daughter's home by the police, and was sent to the Xianglujiao Police Station. She was taken away for no reason, and without any of the proper legal procedures. She was not even allowed to have breakfast. Then she was sent to the Dalian Forced Labor Camp, where she was detained and sentenced to forced labor.

[Linyi County, Shandong Province] The Linyi County "610 Office" Persecutes Falun Dafa Practitioners

The "610 Office" in Linyi, Shandong Province followed the orders of Jiang's regime in brutally persecuting Dafa practitioners [the "610 Office" is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems]. In 2001 and 2002, they arrested 10 Dafa practitioners twice, including Bai Jiuling, and sent them to Dezhou City's Brainwashing Class for physical and mental torture. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Elementary School Teacher Ding Shumei Is Forced to Leave Home

Ms. Ding Shumei was a teacher at the Zhazishijie Elementary School in Xuanhua District, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, where she taught ethics classes. She was once unjustly sentenced to forced labor because she validated Dafa. Ms. Ding almost lost all her money and property from the fines imposed upon her. Her husband frequently cursed and brutally beat her. Recently because she clarified the truth to her students in class, she was reported by a student's parent to the Education Bureau. The principal, secretary, director and secretary of the district education bureau stopped her from teaching and investigated her. On the day before being sent to the city government office, Ding Shumei wisely escaped. She left home and nobody knows her current whereabouts.

[Beining City, Liaoning Province] Lu Sujie and Pang Yukun Are Arrested

At 1:00 p.m. on December 29, 2003, two Dafa practitioners, Ms. Lu Sujie, age 58, and Ms. Pang Yukun, who is over 40 years old, in Yushu Village, Liaotun Town, Beining City, Liaoning Province were arrested for no reason by several police officers headed by Gao Baoli, the village security director of Liaotun Town, Beining City. Their homes were ransacked. The two practitioners resisted the persecution, but they were forcibly carried into a police vehicle, and were illegally held in Beining City's Detention Center. Police in the detention center illegally extorted 365 yuan for living expenses from their family members, who otherwise would not be allowed to visit the practitioners.

Lu Sujie's son, who is also a Dafa practitioner, went to Beijing to validate Dafa. His ID card was illegally confiscated by the local police, and they have still not returned it to him. He has had to leave home to avoid further persecution.

The Lizihe Forced Labor Camp in Shaanxi Province is a harrowing place, dedicated to persecuting Falun Gong practitioners in Shannxi Province. The former Deputy Manager, Zhang Shilu, was regarded by local residents as the worst of several vicious people in Lizihe Shangou. Because he was actively involved in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners, he was granted a "Model Worker Award" and the "Third-level Award for Contribution" by the Central Government's Ministry of Justice. He was therefore promoted to manager of the forced labor camp. The director of the "Transformation Office" in the forced labor camp is also extremely wicked. He employs all the bad thoughts and methods that he has accumulated over 50 years, to damage Falun Dafa and persecute Falun Gong practitioners. He planned the torture of steadfast Dafa practitioners, using all contemptible means including mental torture. Among the torture methods he has employed, this person has forced practitioners to stand still for a whole night, prohibiting them from sleeping. He has hung practitioners in painful positions with ropes, confined them to a small cell, brutally beat them, stripped the practitioners and forced them to stand in a big vat filled with cold water in winter. Further, he instigated the prisoners who were former drug addicts to take turns covering the practitioners with quilts and brutally beating them.

[Mudanjaing City, Heilongjiang Province] The Current Situation in the Mudanjaing City "610 Office" in Heilongjiang Province

The Mudanjiang City "610 Office" in Heilongjiang Province has been languishing in a state of inactivity. Because more and more people in the area have come to know the truth about Dafa, all the agencies in the city are passive in their persecution of Falun Gong. They are not willing to send people to cooperate with the persecution. They had to send two people to reluctantly sustain the brainwashing class. However, in Mudanjiang City, "610 Office" agent, Li Changqing, ignored the practitioners' lives by insisting on not releasing them, and neither would he allow their families to visit them.
