An Excellent Teacher, Mr. Ma Lizhi from Jiaonan City, Shandong Province Dies of Torture
(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Ma Lizhi used to teach at the Adult Education School of Jiaonan City, Shandong Province. Before he took up the practice of Falun Dafa, he suffered from type-B hepatitis and had to ask for long-term sick leave. After he started cultivating Dafa, he recovered quickly and resumed teaching. He was a well respected teacher. Later he was transferred to the Tenth Middle School.

On October 27, 2003, Clearwisdom.net reported an important news item: "More Than 100 Falun Gong Practitioners on Hunger Strike in Jilin Prison; Mr. Liu Chengjun on Brink of Death." According to a Minghui journalist's report from China, more than 100 Falun Gong practitioners were being held in Jilin Prison at that time, and most of them had gone on a hunger strike to protest the ongoing severe torture by prison guards. The lives of those engaged in this peaceful appeal were in danger. It had been verified that Dafa practitioner Mr. Liu Chengjun was on the verge of death.
A Torture Chamber Is Used in Sanshui Forced Labor Camp, Guangdong Province

(Clearwisdom.net) There are four sub-sections at the Sanshui Forced Labor Camp. The Fifth Brigade of the third sub-section is called the "Special Brigade," and it is mainly used for detaining Dafa practitioners. During the periods of December 3, 2000 to January 22, 2003 and March 23 to September 13, 2003, a torture chamber was set up at the second sub-section and used to torture Dafa practitioners. The torture chamber was inside a hidden, high-walled, two-story building with an independent courtyard and had a guardroom 50 meters behind it . It's hard for outsiders to comprehend the brutality of the torture that occurred there. There were scores of Dafa practitioners tortured and made to suffer greatly.
