(Clearwisdom.net) A fellow practitioner was teaching me how to ride a motorbike, and just as he was explaining how to start the engine and how to accelerate, the bike suddenly bolted forward at an accelerating speed. The other practitioners tried to catch me but I was going too fast. Since I hadn't yet learned how to stop the bike, I could have easily had a bad accident. Realizing that I was heading toward a crowded sidewalk, I was nervous but my mind was still clear as I thought, "I simply can't risk injuring anyone, so I'd better get the bike to stop."
I tried turning the right handle to the right, and the bike stopped. After awhile, the other practitioners caught up with me, panting hard. My instructor asked, "How did you know how to stop the bike?" I told him that I had found the brake. Then I showed him what I had done. He gasped, "No, that is the accelerator! Turning the right handle to the right will only make it go faster! Teacher saved you!" I was so startled that I broke into a cold sweat.
I can't imagine what might have happened without Teacher's protection. Our great benevolent Teacher has always been watching out for us. We should diligently strive to truly cultivate ourselves; and to do well in studying the Fa, sending forth righteous thoughts and clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa and the persecution. We shouldn't disappoint Teacher, nor disappoint sentient beings. We must fulfill the vows we long ago made to Teacher.
