In response to the relentless persecution the Chinese people have been forced to endure over the past thirteen years, the Global Coalition To Bring Jiang To Justice has recently been formed. The Coalition is made up of individuals and organizations from around the world. The purpose of the Coalition is to expose the crimes of former leader Jiang Zemin and bring him to justice.

Since Jiang came to power during the 1989 Tiananmen Square student massacre, China's human rights record has continued to slide downward at an alarming rate. Since taking control of China, Jiang has ignored the country's constitution as well as international laws regarding human rights by persecuting Christian family congregations, Catholic underground churches, Tibetans, Uighur Muslims, Falun Gong, proponents of democracy, workers and labor unionists, farmers, university professors and researchers, Internet users, journalists, doctors - the list is quite long.

Through peaceful means and the international court of law, without any political purpose or agenda, the Coalition seeks to hold this dictator and his accomplices accountable for their actions. The Coalition's commitment to defend ethics, morality, and justice is unprecedented in China and will serve to set the precedence for the future of the Chinese people.

Since the Global Coalition was recently proposed in July 2003, about 100 organizations and China activists from several continents have joined and actively contribute to this effort. The Coalition plans to make an announcement of its formal establishment on September 30 in Washington, D.C.

The Global Coalition To Bring Jiang To Justice is dedicated to protecting the future of humanity by mobilizing concerned groups and individuals worldwide with the purpose of stopping persecution and genocide in its tracks. Together, the members and supporters of this coalition will ensure justice is served in the moral court of conscience as well as in courts of law.
