Facts of the Persecution

There are many Dafa practitioners who hold firm beliefs at the Wang-Cun Labor Camp. The few who wrote statements of renouncement, under pressure have all come back to Dafa. The current persecution approach has changed to forced labor every day, in order to physically exhaust Dafa practitioners.

Near the end of Spring 2002, during the time when SARS was spreading rampantly, the Provincial Prosecuting Committee (a Communist party branch) and the "610 Office" conducted an intensive 3-month "Anti-Falun Gong" brainwashing-type training program, through recruiting police personnel from lower government levels.

In July 2002, all regional and municipal "610 Offices" implemented mandatory brainwashing workshops for Falun Gong practitioners. The brainwashing sessions lasted more than a month in each region/city, involving about twenty practitioners who had been illegally rounded up and forced to participate in the class.

Catch up and walk the Final Path: My husband used to be a coordinator who didn't do a lot of direct truth clarification work in person. Several months ago, he realized his omission, and became determined to catch up. It looked as though everything was already set up waiting for him; every time he thought, "How nice if I could have this," then the next day the thing he needed would show up, ready for him to use. Software was being improved upon, equipment upgraded, so that now every day he sends truth-clarification materials to tens of thousands of Chinese people, over the Internet.

Looking at myself, my main problem is not studying the Fa enough. Via dreams of passing a test, articles on Clearwisdom, and words from my husband, Master constantly reminds me to study the Fa more. I began to memorize Zhuan Falun, reciting while I waited for a bus, while resting, and before going to bed. Several articles have also appeared on Clearwisdom, about reciting Dafa. Master is encouraging me, a not so diligent disciple. The effect of reciting the Fa is gradual but enormous. Whenever an unrighteous thought appears in my mind, I can immediately judge it with Dafa, catch it and remove it. During the final period of Fa rectification, I shall do all three things well, i.e., Study the Fa, Send Forth Righteous Thoughts, and Clarify the Truth.

News from Abroad

On Sept 13, World Journal reported that the "Rescue Charles Li" van had arrived in Philadelphia at 10:00 a.m. on September 12, and had held a press conference at Independence Hall Plaza. Mr. Chen Gang, a Falun Gong practitioner who was recently released on July 18 after spending 18 months in a labor camp in Beijing for his belief in Falun Gong, exposed the persecution by the Jiang Zemin regime. Twenty Falun Gong practitioners held banners or did the Falun Gong exercises nearby. This effort to rescue Charles Li began on August 13 in Los Angeles, and will conclude in Washington DC.
